El Caballero

Ate here Christmas Eve. It was magic. The cocktails were perfect and the food was perfect. The staff was so nice. The atmosphere was romantic and fun and just lovely. Note, this is higher end dining vs other places in Cabo Pulmo. The cocktails use real fruit, the rice and mashed potatoes are NOT instant or from a box. The seafood was perfectly prepared. You’ll pay a little more but so worth it.

The only vegan item we found on the menu was the chips, salsa, and guacamole. It was a perfect snack! The chips are fresh and made to order. It was really good!

Such a delicious breakfast! The place is located in Cabo pulmo fishing community, and it’s a 100% family restaurant (mom-pop shop). Their food was “home grown and made” organic. Loved it!

We came here twice for dinner. First time for chicken mole which was not very good. Second time we were running out of options for places open and we asked for the beef nanchos (from the lunch menu) they said we could have them and they were excellent, enough to share between two people and very reasonable $$

Great choice for a small town. The food came fast, drinks were good, and prices were fair compared to some other options. Their evening lighting and ambience is really well done too.

We ate here twice while in Cabo Pulmo- Once for lunch before snorkeling and once after for snacks & drinks. Good food, good service, nice place.

Great dining in Cabo. Shrimp tacos and nachos are very good.

El Caballero has the best atmosphere, staff, mojitos y mas in Cabo Pulmo. This year was our second visit and we absolutely love the vibe here. The bartender named Eddie is the best. He has such a positive energy and he makes the most amazing drinks. Ask for the mojito and he'll use the molcajete to break down the mint by hand. We love the queso fundido on the dinner menu, and the chilaquiles or huevos rancheros on the breakfast menu. If you time your visit right you may hear singing from the kitchen. You can always trust a happy cook + happy bartender. We can't wait to come back next year. ¡Salud!

Lovely service with smile, all the food we ordered were delicious! Inviting and comfortable atmosphere. We were thrilled, good value for good portions!

Have eaten here three times and conclusion is the food is fantastic. Have had ceviche (aquachiles?), fish quesadillas, prawn fajitas and prawn nachos. Last night we had the mocajete caballeros, which was amazing. Every dish has been pretty much bind blowing. The ceviche was so good. Love it!

Solid spot to grab some authentic Mexican! Guac and chips were great, chile Relleno was good enough, and queso enchiladas with salsa verde was delicious. I recommend this spot if you need a bite to eat in Cabo Pulmo.

Very authentic Mexican restaurant! The outdoor patio is lovely with roosters crowing in the background and birds tweeting overhead. The grounds are well manicured and fitting for the terrain. The food was muy delicioso and had great flavor and plated well. The menu is in English and Spanish and they have a wonderful amount of options and the prices are just right. The service is prompt and polite and efficient. Wonderfull all around!

Delicioso! The fajitas de camarones came with a ton of guacamole as did the carne asada!

I can't believe they got 4 1/2 stars so I'm just trying to balance it out. We got Tortilla soup which was good, but in the beef fajitas, the beef was extremely chewy, and in the fish tacos the fish was gamete and inedible. Food was bland overall Bring pesos, since they wanted 10.5% premium to exchange dollars, and would only give change in pesos, you guessed it, at 10.5% less than market price!!

Spent 3 fantastic days in Cabo Pulmo, great beaches, diving (both scuba and snorkelling) and chill vibes. Easily the best joint (of few) in Cabo Pulmo. The most authentic, local and fair priced. We tried them all, and El Caballeros was always welcoming, fantastic chilaquiles and coffee for breakfast, great lunch and dinner options. The patio is welcoming with several different areas to sit at, along with a fair selection of beer, tequilas and wines to drink. The staff are attentive, accommodating and very friendly. Wouldn't bother eating at any of the other places when in Cabo Pulmo!

Of all the restaurants in the world my wife and I have eaten in, this is in all sincerity, our absolute favorite. From the seafood that is caught just off shore, to their tropical ingredients that are grown in their backyard; the secret ingredient that makes this place so special is the atmosphere of paradise mixed with easy living combining to remind us that we only require the basic simplicities to relax and please the human condition.

Great local place , I eat here every time I'm in Cabo pulmo. Superb tasty breakfast before scuba diving. Nice dinners under the palapa outside at night. Great owners and very friendly. I'll be back again in a week :)

What a great find in this out of the way town. Two thumbs up. Both our dishes were delicious. Chicken Cielo and fish of the day. Both served warm and beautifully presented with fresh crisp cooked vegetables and mashed potatoes. The margaritas were large and excellent. Price was reasonable and service good. Might have to go back tonight. It's a driving experience getting here but worth it for the food and the snorkeling is the best I've ever seen.

Being a gringo- we get hungry for pancakes....though all of the breakfast foods are great- loved the pancakes! They were big and fluffy and cooked just right. They also have a "tienda" that has many salsas; liquors; and mixes to buy as well as ice. One of our favorite spots!

Garlic sea bass tasted fresh but not much flavor.atmosphere very nice, staff friendly. Good mojito.
