Really nice place with excellent staff. It feels cheap for Sitges too which a bonus. There's definitely a reason there is always a queue outside waiting for them to open! It's worth it! The bravas & calamari were brilliant! 😍 We also tried a few of the "competition tapas" - the duck, pork cheek and sardine ones were really nice but the 'vermouth drop' which came with the tuna one overpowered the food and was far too strong (it is on the side though so you can choose to avoid it). The beer is also great here!

This is a tapas restaurant recommended by the Airbnb owner. It is the number one tapas restaurant in Sitges. The staff are so friendly Fried octopus is so delicious I recommend eggplant fries. Nice atmosphere but too popular It's a place where you have to wait, but it's not expensive. It's a wonderful place.

Google
Authentic Sitges culinary experience. The best meal of our trip said my discerning husband after 3 weeks on the road. I have to agree. The atmosphere, the service and the quality of the food were outstanding. We went for tapas and a drink but instead were blown to the moon with unique flavors in the ribs tapas, crisp anchovies, and the best patatas bravas this side of Catalonia. The place was vibrating with a frequency that makes your heart and soul smile. Loved the servers whose names I forgot to learn because I was so enamored with their professionalism. Go here but be ready for a wait. It is worth it!

Google
A very very popular place. We went early right when they opened before the crowd came. It lives up to its popularity. Good drinks, good food, good service. Despite the crowd, the service was fast and the staff would make efforts to check in from time to time. They were really friendly too. Love the lively atmosphere at this cozy restaurant with a relatively long history. The menus were also so pretty too and I like how some of the items were really fancy, it felt like fine dining food. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for something nice in Sitges!

Busy busy busy, frequented principally by locals and some tourists alike the atmosphere is great, the tapas excellent. Went twice, around 9pm the second time well over one hour’s wait, but it’s worth it. Exquisite cheesecake

Google
Amazing tapas, great atmosphere and good price. We tried almost all the tapas and our favorite ones were the Bao, octopus, burger and steak.

I have visited Sitges for 6 times till now, El Cable is one of the best restaurants I have been. Very friendly staffs and most important: delicious food. I ordered 5 different kinds of Pintxos, none disappointed me! They are all full of flavors! For sure I'll return the next time when im in Sitges!

Google
El Cable is an amazingly vibrant Tapas Bar in the narrow streets of Sitges ..People standing outside can be easily served via the open window to the bar area ... Inside you can simply stand at the bar to enjoy your Tapas and drinks or be seated at a table..Either way you'll love the wonderful experience which is captivating...

Yelp
Some of the most unique best pinchos I've ever had. Everything was super flavorful and tasty. My favorite was the veal sandwich and the tuna tartare. Tuna was sublime and the veal sandwich was super tender.

Yelp
I have been to Spain more than half a dozen times and this is now one of my favorite places! The service, food, value and overall vibe are incredible. I had The scrumptious ham croquette and moist omelette, followed by very generous portion of patatas bravas and a signature tapa, duck nest. It was my favorite! I stood at the bar bc it was packed and I was alone and didn't want to take up a table and I wanted to see what was going on from a great vantage point. Jordy my bartender took excellent care of me! I may even come back later tonight!

Yelp
This popular bar and tapas place is worth the visit. Inexpensive and a large selection of tapas and beers. Nothing fancy and it may remind you of the local hangout in your college days. The servers are helpful, energetic and efficient...these guys really move! Due to the popularity of the place, you may need to stand for awhile. But the guys are organized, take notes of those waiting for a table and are focused on a clockwork operation. All in all, El Cable is fun, no frills, and a tasty way to spend your night.

Yelp
This place is phenomenonal. Best tapas in town. Always really busy with crowds standing on the street outside eating tapas and drinking a glass is catalonia wine. I was here 3 years ago and came to ensure that my memories of the fantastic experience here were accurate and I was not disappointed. We had the best patatas bravas ever. Cod fritter were like little cod flavoured clouds. We shared the duck tapa dish which was moist and delicious. The croquettes with ham went down a treat. Creamy and full of flavour. The house red comes chilled. Service was engaging but not annoying. Takes a while to get a table. But seriously worth the wait. Highly recommended.

Yelp
The place is packed starting at 7pm on Tuesday night. People wait outside drinking and eating. We waited 40minutes for a table of 5. Their tapas are small but delicious so make sure order enough. Also, the price is very reasonable. Our bill came out around 65€. Everything we ordered was great. Enjoyed chicken fingers, cod fritters, fried little squid, McCable mini burger. Least favorite was pork cheek. Good sangria.

Yelp
I can see why this tapas restaurant has won so many awards, both in Sitges and all of Catalunya. Super-creative and absolutely delicious tapas, served in a pleasant room and by an attentive, professional staff. Don't miss it!

Yelp
So glad we got there early because others were turned away for no reservation. We had copas de estrella and the potatoes brava to start. These were awesome bravas! We also had croquettes, tomato bread, and russian salad. All good. Great place. Go!

Yelp
Food was ok, not great. We have had better tapas in other places. Good, friendly service. May not go back.

Yelp
Superb and extremely lively local atmosphere on a Saturday night in mid-September, with almost as many people drinking and socializing outside the tapas bar in the street, as inside. This may not be the place for a peaceful and romantic dinner, but one is unlikely to find another place in town that better demonstrates the social and entertainment roles of tapas bars in the locals' lives. Very busy during peak periods, taking ten minutes to get a spot at the bar for one person to place an order. However, my waiter was responsive and resourceful, brinigjng me a plate of his 5 favorite tapas, a couple glasses of Rose, and his favorite drink from the ten picturesque barrels behind the bar -- a delicious Vermouth on ice.

Yelp
Outstanding spot for tapas--where the locals go! Wonderful food, away from the overpriced touristy places in other parts of town, this place was so friendly and with far superior food. Excellent place for couples, friends to enjoy real tapas and Spanish tastes.

Yelp
If I wasn't leaving Sitges soon, there's no way I'd tell you about this place, because we'd want it all for ourselves. It's already competitive enough getting a seat in this small, but not tiny tapas bar. As a matter of fact, you'll notice that many people are eating outside, because there's just no room for them inside. Luckily, food is passed to them through the window. Now, I don't mean drive-thru window or a window like you'd find at a diner. I'm talking about the window that lets air in from the street so people eating on the street outside can share in the fun and flavors. El Cable is run by a team of young chefs that take their creativity seriously. They just keep bringing out plates of creations and setting them on the bar as patrons scoot up to get a taste before they are gone. Because, for the most part, once a platter is empty, it's done. The chefs have already moved on to their next great creation. The food we saw and, in some cases tried, ranged from sliders, to meatballs, to smoked salmon, to balsamic mozzarella with herbs to sausages to cheeses to...well, you get the picture. The longer you stay, the more variety you are exposed to. Combine the great flavors with wine, a local beer or even and lemon shandy (beer with Lemonade that's popular here) and you just want to keep going and trying new things. It's pretty intimate, so you will likely end up getting ideas for your next round of tapas from your neighbors or your server, who is also likely one of the chefs. The biggest surprise you'd get, other than all the great flavors, will be the check. Most items are one or two Euros. You can try and lot of truly wonderful variety without running up a huge bill, which, of course, makes you all the more motivated to try more the next time you visit. The is not on the beachfront, where most of the restaurants are. You have to go back a couple of blocks and find it. It's worth it though. If you have dined in San Francisco, then let me ask you a question. Is the really good food found on Fisherman's Wharf or is it back a few blocks on Chestnut or Union Street. The same seems to be true here. The good stuff doesn't necessarily have a water view.

Yelp
The food, the staff, the place and the atmosphere is absolutely perfect! Prices are good, and the award winning tapas simply melted in the mouth! Defiantly worth a visit, again and again.. Was there two weeks ago and the restaurant is mostly full, most of the opening hours. I didn't like the TV was switched on, but it's an excuse since it was a Barcelona match, I guess.. Anyway, there is no reason not to go! Five stars!!
