One of the best hostels i have visited. In the night there was absolut silence and I slept very well. The rooftop is amazing and very cozy including a nice kitchen. And most important Tony is a great host and gave me a lot of nice Information and recommondations for Cuenca and my further trip to Peru and Bolivia. Finally i got invited by him to lunch, he really cared about me feeling at home! Thanks for all!

By far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are clean and private and the host is really nice and welcoming. Especially the rooftop is really cozy and I spend most of my evening just hanging out there.

Tony is a very friendly owner who gave me a lot of advice for Cuenca and other places in Ecuador. There is no breakfast included, but the market on the other side of the plaza has great options. The rooftop is great. Tony also helped me to book a taxi at 3am to the minivan agency to Guayaquil airport.

A really nice and chill hostel in a perfect location to experience Cuenca. Tony was so friendly and helpful, including mapping a walking tour for us on our first day as well as suggesting amazing activities, restaurants and bars and helping us with our onward journey through ecuador and beyond ! The rooftop is also the perfect place to chill at any time of day !!

The location is great, there is a really nice rooftop and Tony tries to be helpful. But the bathroom was so dirty, there was no toilet paper and I just didn’t feel comfortable staying there. Tony was patronizing me after I arrived, I found it very annoying. I’m NOT recommending.

Great rooftop view, nice rooms, charming atmosphere. Kind host that was super helpful. The host provided me with a map and recommendations. It was great to be in the center of everything. I loved just opening my windows and looking down at the busy plaza.

Very bad value for money. It needs a lot of improvement. Tony is a cool person and gave us a lot of tips, but the overall experience of the hostel needs more maintenance. Our room didn’t have windows outside , only 1 window facing the lobby - so we could hear everyone coming down the stairs or partying on the terrace - and the light in the lobby was reflecting in the room the whole night. Also, next to our bed was the window to the bathroom of the next door tenant - so we could hear them each time they used the bathroom. The room was clean , a bit too small for 2 people - and we didn’t receive any soap. The price is definitely a bit too high for what you receive in return. Yes, the terrace is cool, but you can get this view anywhere in the city, without paying 45$ for a room (in our case, cuz we arrived on Cuenca’s Independence days), or ~20-30$ on a normal day. I’m not sure why so many comments with super good reviews when the reality is a bit different. The location is good - very close to the center, the local markets and good restaurants / cafes. Overall, I guess it’s okay for 1-2 nights in the city.
