Our Icon Golf membership visited El Camaleon this past week and had a wonderful three days of golf. Aaron and his team were attentive, hospitable and gracious. The golf course was in solid shape and presented very well. The transfers between hotel and golf club were seamless. Thank you for providing our members an excellent golf experience, capped off by an ace on #4!

El Camaleon blew me away - from the course itself to the service, and so much more, including the Club House. I cannot say enough good things, it was truly a pleasure being here! This will probably be the BEST course that I ever have the chance to play! Perfectly kept course, greens were like glass, and best bunker sand that I have ever seen. On course water stations and the marshal brought ice towels to keep us cool - much needed! I used WhatsApp to communicate with Mr. Aaron Alcocer and he hooked us up! The ladies in the Pro Shop were amazing as well, very helpful! Green fees included transportation from our resort, which is very important as it is expensive in Mexico, and unlimited range balls. Our driver was also a great guy! I would highly recommend playing here and experiencing what a Professional Course has to offer! 5 Stars and I will be back!

Beautiful course! Challenges you and rewards the good shots. Perfectly manicured greens, fairways, and even the 2nd cut is well maintained. The clubhouse features many autographed memorabilia from golf greats and other sports as well. A pool table, many tvs, xbox gaming, and a full bar with draft beer and local beers as well. They have an all inclusive option for $75 that includes the clubhouse food and drinks plus the beverage cart on the course. Also, I highly recommend the caddy service for $65. They really know the course well and help make the round a one of a kind experience.

To start off, you will get transportation to the course if you’re staying within the Cancun-Riviera Maya Hotel zone and I definitely appreciated it! One less thing to worry about when visiting Mayakoba. Upon arrival you get dropped off at the big colorful Camaleon and are greeted and led to the pro shop. Checking in and paying was swift and I was outside soaking up the views and Mexican sun with minutes of arriving. The golf carts were super nice with padded seats, GPS screens and Bluetooth. Practice facilities are included with the green fee. I got paired up with a 2some and another single to make our 4some. Super chill guys looking for some fun so our round was stress free and easy going. The course was immaculate! So lush and green, fairways were pristine and greens were immaculate! The bunkers had the fluffiest sand I’ve ever played. And the views were 10/10! The course is narrow which I wasn’t expecting so when I didn’t hit the fairway I was definitely penalized. It is an expensive green fee but worth every penny since you’re walking and playing the same course as PGA/LPGA/LIV pros have played. Highly recommend! I hope I have a chance to go back to better my score!

One of the best in shape courses I've played. From a $USD standpoint some things are way too expensive, but that's part of how these courses are. A dozen recycled balls are $50. Hats are up to $100. If you need a golf glove they have those, but the staff removes the ball marker if they have them on the glove. So, you'll have to purchase one or use change. Yes, I brought everything I needed. But I was still a little taken back by some of the prices. The course is everything I expected from a championship course. Fairways and greens were hard and fast. When I say fast, most of our balls ran off the greens. Some holes were more wide open than others, which made it easier for miss hits. Others required more precise shots. The day we played we could only hit irons on the driving range because a soccer game was being played at the end of the range. This was a let down with what we paid for the round. Which made it difficult to warm up with rental clubs. This brings me to the only real complaint I have about this facility. The PXG clubs they offered were not that great and really made it difficult to enjoy the round. I would expect a course that held a LIV event would have at least 2 options for club rentals. So if you normally use cubs with an offset, you're SOL here. I was able to finally somewhat dial in the clubs by the last few holes. Overall I would play this course again. If you have the ability, bring your clubs. I always rent clubs on international trips because we don't check any bags and only play one day.

Just amazing, don’t think it further, just go and enjoy. The course was in perfect condition, it’s a fun design with water, trees, beach, monkeys, and even cenotes. All in between 4 hotels connected with eateries and taxi boats between them. I have index 18, and thought blue would be too long so played whites. It was too short! (I shot 104 anyways, my fault, damn water). The price includes the cart, and range balls. The store is expensive (as expected), but really nice. The club house is also nice.

This course is gorgeous! Beautifully maintained and picturesque. Probably one of the best courses I've ever played. They have complimentary fruit infused water at the turn as well as at the main pick up/drop off area. The only word of caution is to mind any food items in your cart. The coaties will climb in your cart and snoop through your belongings (they are really cute though).
