Came here solely based on the number of reviews this place got. I only tried the guac and the grilled fish tacos. The food itself was very fresh, I think the guac could have had a little more spice, but they did have hot sauce sitting around. The price was reasonable, it could be a little lower for what it is. But overall good experience. If I go back, it will be to try something new.

Not a fancy place - but definitely very good food and a great variety! We had the skewers and the coconut shrimp and the portions were pretty big and very delicious!

Great place for quick and affordable seafood in Tulum. You don’t have the fancy athmosphere of the beach clubs, but you get a top local seagood experience. These is where locals go for seafood… Quality is outstanding! Will come back again…

Had one of the best ceviche plates I have ever had. It consisted of very fresh shrimp, octopus and squid with the classic pico de Gallo salsa. It was sooo good! Locals and tourists frequent the place. The fresh squeezed juices were also outstandingly sweet and fresh.

Beyond disappointing!!! We have been eating here for almost 15 years , every year a few times. Unfortunately the quality of the food degraded slowly, particularly over the last 3-4 years, to the point where in January the food was mediocre at the best, and today we managed to have the worst ceviche EVER - the seafood chewy and an ungodly amount of lime juice, making it inedible. The fish tacos were mediocre at the best, with the tortillas falling apart, and no flavour. What’s wrong with this place , it used to be the destination for authentic Mexican seafood on the Mayan Riviera. Now I dread someone experiencing seafood here the first time. Get your act together El Camello Jr.

This restaurant was a highlight of our trip to Tulum! The food was absolutely incredible. We especially loved the ceviche—it was fresh and flavorful—and the fish was perfectly cooked and delicious. Their house seafood soup was a standout, rich in flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. On top of that, the prices were very fair for the quality of the food. We highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Tulum!

If you're looking for the freshest ceviche in Tulum, this is the place to be! I have never had ceviche this good and the serving for a small order was good for 3-4 people. The price is very, very affordable as well. We also ordered fish and shrimp tacos which both were equally as good. The sauces on the table is a must with your tacos. Also have to mention how good their bean dip is which was complimentary when they serve you the tortilla chips. Service and ambiance is what you would expect from a local restaurant - warm and accommodating to your needs.
