The nature on the place is beautiful but the service is horrible and the infrastructure aged and not well maintened. The employees have no training at all and have no idea what they are doing. It is impossible to write here all the details of the terrible service, they just do not care at all. The manager responsible for the careyes club is the most arrogante and incompetent that i meet in my life. She does not care about service and the customer, she just like to play with her dog.|Do not waste your time coming to this place.

This is a beautiful beach club with private residences. It's not a hotel, and it's in the jungle, but you won't find anywhere else like it. The views and sunsets are amazing. The staff are all very nice and helpful, led by the manager Ingrid, and Chef Julio can make you something delicious according to your tastes. Don't expect a gym or spa or 5 star hotel services, but if you want a quiet place for the family, surrounded by Paradise, this is the place for you.

Terrible service - terrible food. Rooms are run down and dirty. The restaurant and pool bar has terrible food and drinks - would absolutely not recommend this place. Incredibly overpriced - it’s more like a 3 star hotel. Careyes is beautiful but you are better served renting a house there.

Sadly I have to say that we didn't enjoy our trip to the Careyes Club & Residences at all. The location is of course special and the architecture of the whole area is wonderful. The rooms are nice but basic & pricy. But that's where the magic ends. The beaches are not really to swim at all. Pools are good. But the worst is the costumer service. I had to ask for everything several times and in the end 4/5 replies I got were wrong. One of the most embarrassing moments was that they had an cocktail party planned in one of the beautiful villas in Careyes. I asked twice in the reception if really everyone is allowed to attend the cocktail party. "Of course, it's for all the guests"...so I asked for the directions, I got transferred to a Manager who explained me how to get there and I asked again, if we really could go there. As they had a flyer in the receptions advertising this event. 2h later we drove to the villa. What took us nearly 30 min because of the difficult roads....as soon we entered the property we some guests looking at us with disgust and a woman approached us, telling us that we are not allowed to be here. This is a private property. Then I mentioned the event advertised by the hotel. But she replied me that this event was canceled. I mentioned that I just spook to the manager of the Hotel and who even confirmed me the event 2h ago. She then replied me..ooh then he most likely didn't received the e-mail. Honestly we felt like complete idiots. IMO you should not travel to Careyes if you can not effort to rent villa for 8 -12k a night. If not you're treated like a second-class guest visiting Hollywood. I'm very sad we lost our time and money visiting this place. Not worth the hype at all.

Hard to get to ...you can arrive by boat ...well managed and friendly ...food is pretty good..not fabulous. Guess every place is different ..I had two bedrooms and a living room and kitchen and terrace ...everything including the pool & beach is a few steps away. Very quiet ...no real town and a 3 hour drive from Puerto Vallarta airport.||A little like “glamping”... quiet. Fairly Expensive .

We were quite nervous whether this place will live up to our expectation. We understood that the casitas were built +20 years ago, but friends who know us recommended them to us and they were right.||This is a wonderful place. We stayed at a two bedroom Casita called Tucan. This place felt brand new, the furniture, the kitchen, the bathrooms and the pool. The view is stunning and you can not get enough admiring the sunset from your terrasse or sitting in the pool. ||The private beach is awesome too.||||

We stayed in a casita overlooking the beach and resort during our wonderful stay at this place in paradise. The casita itself was huge and really well appointed. The rework magnificent. Safe, clean and remote. An amazing break from New York.
