El Carmelo Retreat House Gift Shop

I have been on several retreats here and they were so so beautiful! Te Catholic bookstore is phenomenal too. The Discalced Carmelite Priests are so deep and loving.

I just spent 3 wonderful days here on a silent retreat and can't wait to come back again. The grounds are peaceful and well kept. The retreat house is surrounded by gorgeous mountains. My room was small but adequate seeing as my time was spent outdoors and in chapel. The meals were amazing and plentiful very peaceful! Loved it.

I’ve experienced 2 weekend-long silent women’s retreats here, and both were incredible experiences in this peaceful atmosphere. One of my favorite moments was enjoying a cup of coffee in the early morning on the patio overlooking the orange grove and looking out at the mountains. It was easy to experience God’s presence here.

If you are Catholic, this a beautiful place to be and spend time with our Lord. It has a beautiful Chapel, beautiful gardens all around, many special places to be in solitude and prayers, the priests are very welcoming, knowledgeable and very spiritual, and easy to talk with. The sisters Oblates of Mary, prepare delicious and variety meals. The all place is surrounded by orange groves. It has a beautiful view of the Mountains as well. You can come for a weekend retreat, daily mass, or just to visit the Chapel and gift shop. Great experience and opportunity to be along with yourself and our Lord. 🙏💝⚘

I love love love love love this place! We went there for a retreat and it was very soothing spiritually calm very well maintained and taken care of the rooms for great for a retreat for our women's group and we are definitely returning next year! The nuns and the priests were amazing and made us feel very welcome and felt like at home

It's such a peaceful place to visit. The chapel is an excellent place to pray and be one with God. Their oranges and avocados are the best.

The best place on earth! Peace and love and beautiful gardens around. All priest are wonderful persons. Retreats give you closer to God and majes you like brand new again. Can t wait till pandemia is over to go there. Mean time I m watching all great youtube videos they do for us. Some are live. Blessings
