Our group went to El Casal Café Bar to have some oysters. All the dishes we ordered looked unappetizing when they were brought out — and unfortunately, they tasted that way too. I ordered the pork ribs, but what I got was just a single piece of stringy meat. The experience was completely ruined when I went to the restroom and saw large cockroaches running around.

I was recommended this place after my working tour, and it did not disappoint. It was the best menu del dia I'd had on my weeks holiday.
The starter was aubergine, the flavours were amazing. Followed by the cheek, not sure what cheek exactly but it was delicious 😋. Both dishes came out hot too. I highly recommend.

OMG I loved this place. Cool spot down an alley, kimchi cauliflower was absolutely amazing, and the short rib was so tender and delicious. Super fun atmosphere and fantastically friendly staff, this might be my favorite place I ate in all of Barcelona.

I don’t understand these reviews! The bathrooms are quite small and has small fruit flies flying around. The food was awful. Patata bravas didn’t have much tastes and the Camembert was EXTREMELY SATLY! Not to mention such small portions. I couldn’t eat it and told the servers but they didn’t care.. It was awful and disgusting. I had it before in France and it was so much nicer.

The oysters and champagne are worth the trip! The service is kind and helpful. We also loved the oyster/champagne combo with ribs as a meal. They charge for chupitos which was a surprise as this is not typical Spanish culture, however they will return with kindness 10x 🩷 would definitely come again for a local catch. Gracias!

Delicious and creative Spanish food, friendly staff that speak English and are happy to let you practice Spanish if you want, cozy and stylish interior and breezy patio.
Fall update: still perfect, and with some Asian-inspired dishes added to the lunch menu.
