This use to be one of the best spots in Ibiza. Sadly, in 2025 it’s a shadow of what it once was. The magic is gone, the vibe is flat, the crowd feels different, and the prices have become absurd.
What makes it worse is the service. Staff are inattentive at best, arrogant at worst. I’ve never experienced such dismissive treatment from a waiter anywhere, let alone at a place charging this much. Instead of hospitality, you get attitude.
Yes, the location is stunning and the food itself is decent, but when you’re dropping nearly a thousand euros for a day, the basics, clean surroundings, professional service, and respect, should be guaranteed. Here, they aren’t.
Bottom line: El Chiringuito is living off its old reputation. Today it’s overpriced, poorly run, and not worth the hype. A real disappointment.
