El Chiringuito Ibiza

This is one of those spots that’s on every tourist’s list when visiting Ibiza, but in my opinion, it’s overhyped and doesn’t live up to the expectations. I visited this place 3 years ago, and tbh, it was much better back then. The food and menu are still good, but for the prices they charge, you can find much better options on the island. On top of that, the beach is not a great place to swim or relax on the loungers because the seaweed piles up on the shore and gives off a strong smell. This time around, there was no vibe at all, and the place seems to have lost its charm. I definitely wouldn’t come back.

The food was decent, but it didn't quite live up to my pre-Covid memories. I remember this place being a lot more enjoyable before, with a better crowd. Now it's not the same. On top of that, parking was a nightmare. We spent 40 minutes circling around to find a spot. Come on, guys, why other restaurants don't have this problem and expand their parking?? The food was just okay; the tomato salad had rotten tomatoes, but the black rice dish was good. It used to be so much better, so I was really let down.

Amazing place, highly recommended. The food, the vibe, beach, sunset. Checks all the boxes. My try the fish shawarma, tuna tartare and fired calamari, black rice. Wish I took more pictures of the food.

Overall, food, atmosphere, and service were on point. Great to go for a late lunch with less crowding and still get to enjoy the island vibes and dj. The food is pretty expensive so if you don’t want to break the bank, I would suggest ordering an appetizer and entree to share. I would recommend this restaurant but for value, there are plenty of other great options on the island.

Great atmosphere and great food and great people. This is really a great place to chill and enjoy your meal while going into the sea. The place is a little bit posh and expensive but it is worth it in my opinion! Worth it.

Perfekt Location . Great breakfast with fresh fruit. Service was little slow . Waiting 30 min for 2 cappuccino’s and small breakfast . But we will for sure come back:-)

If you were to die tomorrow this is where you'd want to eat today. We came by accident and walking in to tables with fresh flowers, linen, a dj, and a small shop with lovely trinkets we knew we were into a good thing. The food isn't cheap by any means, but it was impeccable, relaxed but so well done. Service was great and the crowd was very cool, we came early though at 13:00 and by the time we walked back at 16:30 to get our taxi the place was packed, so maybe going early is a good thing, though not very Spanish. It's easy to take a taxi here and the restaurant are happy to call you one to return. It's an outside restaurant so if it's hot outside it stands to reason that it will be hot even in the shade, I'm not sure you can blame the restaurant for this, maybe just be prepared for outing.

Overall, very crowded, feels extremely hot if you’re seated towards the inside! The food selection is solid, fits all tastes and overall quality is good to very good. Key highlight are the grilled calamaris!
