Ibiza Restaurants Are as Incredible as Its Beaches

"This hopping beachside spot is known for exceptional cocktails. “A high-energy beachside eatery, El Chiringuito offers an outdoor dining experience that's popular with lunch crowds. The seafood-centric menu highlights Mediterranean flavors and ingredients, all elevated by live music and stunning views of Es Cavallet beach.”" - Leila Najafi

We spent the day at the beach, and while it was nice, it wasn’t anything extraordinary. The food and service were good, but the pricing felt excessive. They add a 20% beach service fee plus a 10% service charge, meaning dining on the beach costs an extra 30% on top of your bill. For what you get, it’s simply not worth it. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. The staff member in charge of the beach beds kept playing his own music while the restaurant had its own playlist, so we ended up hearing two different soundtracks at the same time. It was distracting and quite annoying.

This use to be one of the best spots in Ibiza. Sadly, in 2025 it’s a shadow of what it once was. The magic is gone, the vibe is flat, the crowd feels different, and the prices have become absurd. What makes it worse is the service. Staff are inattentive at best, arrogant at worst. I’ve never experienced such dismissive treatment from a waiter anywhere, let alone at a place charging this much. Instead of hospitality, you get attitude. Yes, the location is stunning and the food itself is decent, but when you’re dropping nearly a thousand euros for a day, the basics, clean surroundings, professional service, and respect, should be guaranteed. Here, they aren’t. Bottom line: El Chiringuito is living off its old reputation. Today it’s overpriced, poorly run, and not worth the hype. A real disappointment.

El Chiringuito Ibiza Beach Club We decided to spend the day at a beach club and we chose El Chiringuito Ibiza. Reservations are a must in this location and we thankfully had our concierge call in for us. There are 3 different options of seatings, we choose the beach chairs and umbrella. If you are only doing the beach club, you have to spend a certain dollar amount, ours was 130 euro per adult and 75 euros for kids. The cocktails and mocktails are great and fun! The goods is beach friendly, where they are brought to you and placed on a side table. There is also a bathroom that the beach club goes and restaurant share, and even a shower. And if you forget your sunscreen or sunglasses, they have the cutest shop, just in case. Overall it’s a worthwhile relaxing day at the beach with beautiful warm water.

Such a great lunch here — the food was really good, the drinks were even better, and the whole place had a fun, buzzy atmosphere. Service was spot on too. My friends said they’d give it 4 stars because of the price, but honestly… you kind of know what you’re walking into with a place like this. It’s not pretending to be cheap eats — it’s about the experience, the vibe, and they deliver on all fronts. Perfection doesn’t exist, so niggling on price doesn’t work for me on this occasion so 5* it is…

The food is delicious, everything is fresh, we had a delicious sangria with cava, bogavante toasts, salad and the red pagro beautifully covered with slices of potato simulating the scales. The ambience is super nice and relax. Very good service, our waitress Maria was top! She was friendly and always with a smile.

The best meat I’ve ever had! Full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and professional. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip 🤩

Fun club for a lunch. We expected it to be a bit more upmarket, it seems to be much more like a basic beach club now. The drinks were great, the food amazing and of course, that view 😀. Staff were friendly and fun.

One of my favorite spots in Ibiza where I can enjoy a delicious lunch in a wonderful zen atmosphere with wooden furniture, wicker and bamboo decor, with amazing sea view. The service is exceptional, so friendly and professional, they will do their best to accommodate you, offer you true hospitality. Our waiter Jorge was the best. If you want to start the day on the sandy beach on the comfy sunbeds relaxing without noise, loud music or kids/families around you and then enjoy your meal, then this place is ideal.
