El Cielo de Montera

We’re staying at the Hotel Montera Madrid. It’s an obvious solution to head up to the roof terrace bar each evening. The weather has been incredibly hot! The welcome by the team is always fabulous. They are energetic, enthusiastic and fun. Great views of the city. Good music. As hotel guest, we have priority as this place can get busy. Good wine selection but above all one of the best Passion Fruit Mojito prepared by Frey. A huge shout out to Marcos, Flor, Maria Jose & Luca!!! Cosy. Intimate. Relax.

Rooftop bar on the 10th floor, 10€ fee to go up, although you get that amount discounted for orders at the bar. The best obviously is the environment and the views of the gran vía, however that is pretty much it. The terrace is pretty small, the prices are very expensive (the cheapest cocktail is 15€) and the drinks are really small, with tiny complimentary tapas. There are cheaper rooftop bars in the area (Macarena, hotel riu...) with better views and bigger drinks.

Another rooftop terrace in Gran Via but not so crowded as the more popular ones. The main attraction is the views of the Telefonica Tower just in front. Design is nice but there was too much light and and outshined the views. Nice signature cocktails but overpriced

A perfect spot with an amazing view and excellent service. I had some wine and cheese with some friends of mine & Sebastian treat us very well. We will be back!!

It’s a roof top of a hotel and you can see madrid a good view. Coctails are grate especially coniac base coctail is greate. Staff s are very helpfull, you will enjoy.

The rooftop CDC on the 10th floor is absolutely cool, it is very comfortable during the 4 seasons, the professional staff treats you really good recommending the best cocktails in Madrid. Besides the wonderful hotel Montera shows itself the well care designs and a beautiful taste for decoration which invites you to stay longer and come back. I'm not going to talk about the perfect location where you feel the queen or king of this astonishing city.

Beautiful terrace, wonderful atmosphere. Service a little bit slow but really friendly. Now the food, in general good but not great. There was something missing in every dish except for one. In general a good experience, I think is a new place and have some things to adjust but is worthy to go visit.

A must do in Madrid. Highly recommend the rooftop the staff is so nice and the drinks are excellent. Special thanks to Angel and Jose for the hospitality, and to Flor for making our experience unforgettable.
