We loved our stay here, thanks to the great service of the owners. The breakfast with view is priceless. The parking is 5 minutes walk and the owner is happy to offer a transfer with his small cute van when you arrive or leave with bagage. The location is really centre and still quiet. The rooms offer all you need.

We stayed here for four nights at the start of our holiday in Andalusia. It’s a real gem. The rooms are charming and comfortable, our had an amazing balcony with incredible views. The owners are brilliant. Really friendly and they take so much pride in their homemade breakfast and genuinely try and look after their guests. Would not hesitate to return and I feel sure that we will. Highly recommended.

Amazing little hotel in a beautiful street within the old town! The place is an oasis of calm right in the center of Vejer! It is beautifully decorated, has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. Jesus and Merche are the best hosts we had in all our trip around Cadiz, they are so attentive and always ready to help with a constant smile in their face. Not to say the amazing breakfast they prepare (and cook!), I understand now the previous reviews about the breakfast! We will certainly be back, 150% recommended!!

What a lovely place to stay with lovely hosts, best breakfast and a room/ apartment that has everything you need!! The fantastic view from the private rooftop terrace in our room „bolonia“ was the icing on the cake (besides the view to the coast from the bed). we can definitely recommend this place and will come back one day. thanks for everything!!

First of all was the communication with El Cobijo very good before we arrived. We got some tips about parking the car. It's a very romantic boutique hotel with an excellent location in the old town of Vejer. You can't reach it by car. From our room and from the terrace the view was absolutely stunning. The rooms were decorated nicely and the patio was great. The breakfast was really the best. Homemade jam, fresh orange juice and good coffee and bread and much more. We stayed in Vejer before but this stay was really the best. Jesus and Merche; thanks a lot for the wonderfull stay. We hope to come back.

We spotted a handful of positive reviews and took a chance on this unpromising looking corner bar and were rewarded with amazing tapas. Grilled octopus and squid, sweet and juicy tomato salad and the best morcilla of our lives. Chatty owner clearly very proud of his food. The only issue of space - good for two, we squeezed four around one table. Recommended for people who care more about food than ambiance.

Stayed 4 nights - group of three in two rooms one double and a twin. ||Spotlessly clean traditional decorated rooms with heating in bathroom and room itself. It was around 7 degrees at night and was not cold. ||Breakfast was amazing. Toast, cereal, homemade jams, eggs, meats and cheese and don’t forget homemade cake. ||We loved the chocolate cake one morning - we came back from a day out to find the hosts had put some in cling wrap and bowls and put in our rooms! So sweet of them. ||To access the hotel you cannot access from the road. You need to use the stairs, from the road, then a slope by the theatre then a flat street and then few more stairs. We found it fine but anyone with mobility difficulties may struggle. There are more steps in the hotel. ||We got parking on the street but not always near the stairs. The stairs are 50m from the restaurant called Corredera 55. Which I will write a seperate review of. ||Last but not least the little lounge area on the roof top is lovely and the views of Vejer are amazing.
