El Conuco

Best meal we have had so far in our trip across multiple cities in Dominican Republic! We were so impressed with the quality of the food. Everything we ordered was excellent. Food came out in less than 20 minutes. Please note that the price we paid for 2 Passion fruit drinks, a goat dish, and a pork dish came up to around $55 USD. It was worth it, just pricier than we thought. We were very full and happy with our dinner.

Found this place from TikTok, and though it’s a little more on the expensive side it’s definitely a casual cuisine worth trying! Everything I ordered was good including the drink! That fish covered in coconut cream sauce was amazing!

Very good flavors overall. I know some say the portions are huge, but I found mine on the smaller side, perhaps because it was so delicious. I first visited El Conuco as a child almost 35 years ago. I'm glad it's still around and doing well.

Really authentic and affordable Dominican food. The service is great but can be a challenge if you don't speak Spanish. The cream sauce Mofongo is 🔥🔥. La Bandera with chicken or beef and rice and beans was delicious too. This place also has good drinks. Good place for a large group.

The food was great! The decor was amazing and service was excellent. We even got an unexpected show! We were so happy with this visit and will be back again!

I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're looking for an authentic Dominican restaurant! The vibes, the decor, the food, the service.. all 10/10! The food was delicious, full of flavor, and good portions. The servers were so sweet and helpful. I can't wait to return to DR to dine here again!

I want to thank you for the warm welcome we received from the parking area—it was truly a great start. However, we noticed there were few staff members available, which made the service a bit slower than expected. The attention, though friendly, didn’t have the same agility as in previous visits. Regarding the food, we felt that on this occasion it didn’t meet the same quality level as before. I’m confident that with a few adjustments, you can return to providing the excellent experience we’ve come to expect from you.

Food was pretty good. I had the grilled pork and mofongo while wife had the shrimps. Think the best part of El Conuco is the cocktails and the ambience. Nice music and atmosphere.
