What to Do in Mérida, Mexico in the Yucatán

"I had a leisurely lunch at the chic Te Extraño from Mexico City chefs Joaquín Cardoso and Sofía Cortina, where dishes reflected the city's mix of old and new — from a cold pea and mint soup to roasted octopus with sour orange — and I even tried a cocktail made from a mezcal‑like distillate of henequen." - Scarlett Lindeman Scarlett Lindeman Scarlett Lindeman is a chef, writer, and researcher based in Mexico City, Her work covers Mexican cuisine, foodways, and culture. The food was ok. The ambience and decoration of the place was amazing. The theme and all was mind blowing. A bit difficult to find.

My family and I walked in and got told to wait outside because there was a line. Didn’t get told that there was a waiting list until 1 hour of waiting, so I walked up to the host and she said that there was a list after she had told me to just wait to be seated. After I had ordered, my food was brought one by one every 20 minutes and still got asked for a tip. We got switched tables by the host after we finally got seated after about a 1 hour and 15 minute wait

The pizza is disgusting. The staff is very unfriendly. The bathroom was not working. Dont deserve your visit. Also the main place is closed so they have only a small room w nothing special so even to take photos don’t worth the visit. Just save your money.
