Beautiful location! The El Faro, is a nice secluded getaway! The service was top notch and friendly! They served great food, that didn’t disappoint. The pool was constantly cleaned throughout the day. The bathrooms, were also clean, and quite convenient. The beach “floating beds” were comfortable, and allow you to relax on the sand. You are a quick walk to the ocean, where you are greeted with spectacular views, and the chorus of ocean waves. Definitely worth the trip.

Not used to paying to go to the beach but this was worth it. 650 pesos per person gives you access to a cabana and a swimming pool by the beach. Spent 4 hours there. Beach itself is not swimmable due to rough waters. Lovely sea breeze the entire time. Ordered tacos and quesadillas along with some mango margaritas. Enjoyed a massage at their spa. Well kept bathrooms, showers and changing rooms.

Google
I highly recommend the beach club. $25 for a day rental of a cabana was perfect. The staff was helpful and friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. The massages were US priced and well done. The location is amazing with the beach and the pool. Will visit again!

I don’t have words to explain how amazing this place is… The beach is quite private, big big beach, amazing views of whales near the shore and perfect for a long walk. The food was amazing The service was impeccable The beach side massage were glorious The drink menu has great selection The pool was cold to my liking but beautiful and has a pool bar and a wonderful view The facilities are impeccable clean We had THE BEST DAY here and we highly recommend it

Google
Beautiful beach club, $650 MXN entry per person, food is good, drinks are good too. You have access to a shower area which was very convenient after a pool day. Several beach beds, swings and cabanas as options. The sea in front isn’t swimable, as the waves are really strong. A few remarks what could improve: cleanliness of pool (there were little critters) and cleaning of the glass windows by the pool to allow for a view of the beach. Be aware that other beach clubs credit your entry fee to use on food/drinks. This isn’t the case here.

Google
Access to the beach club costs 650 pesos per person per day. Totally worth it. The beach was empty. Service was attentive and friendly. The food is nothing special but the rest compensate for it.

This beach with restaurant and pool area is amazing. Everything about this place is so peaceful with great views that want me to stay for longer period. Food in restaurant was delicious with very engaging employees, plenty of parking spots and it wasn’t crowded. I highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to come back again soon 👌🏽

Google
Haven't spent the day here yet. Mainly went to check it out since I live In the area. Here are some pictures of the menu for food and drinks. Alps the spa prices and pictures by. The grounds are beautiful and perfect ocean view. Will be back to try out the food and drinks. To sit up by the pool it's $500 pesos and to get seating on the beds down on the beach it's a $650 charge. Food/drinks are extra charge.

Yelp
Service and location very nice. Quiet location with beautiful views. Shrimp ceviche likely the best I've ever had. Recommended!

Yelp
We saw the sign on the highway and knew El Faro means lighthouse so in we went! Greeted by the lovely Laura who gave us a great spot in the small inside but still outside restaurant and we started with a cold beer! Yes yes and yes on the shrimp tacos, maybe best I've had down here. And we saw fries wander by so we said "why not?" Great food, spectacular views and right on the beach! I'd reserve a beach cabana or pool cabana and stay the day. Book in advance. CoVid protocol observed and plenty of space In between. Also a spa for that after fry massage!!! Love a new find! Absolutely the right place for review 900!!!! I'd go back tomorrow!

Yelp
What a gem. Fish tacos, quick service from a very charming 60 years young waiter named Chacon the cabrón, great margaritas, and WHALES swimming by close to shore. Hard to find this place however. Worth the expedition!

Yelp
Poor attitude cash grab everyone walking through the door is nothing more than dollar sign. We left happy to have spent money of food and drink all day they didn't need to rip us off before we even sat down.

Yelp
This is connected to Guyacura Boutique Hotel but a 5 minute drive away. As a guest, your entrance is free. It's basically a beach club where you can swim, drink, eat and purchase a spa experience. It's a lovely place, although not that necessary to visit since the hotel has a pool, though would be great with a big group of friends. The spa treatments were quite expensive (like approx $220 USD) for an hour. Staff here speak excellent English. It took like 30 minutes to find us a towel which was annoying.

Yelp
Wow!! El Faro Beach Club and Spa does not disappoint!! So so good! Margaritas have just the right balance of tequila and lime... not too sweet! The Gobernado Shrimp Tacos are AMAZING! Fresh homemade flour tortillas with melted cheese plus shrimp and peppers sautéed in butter... I can't even! Simple but delicious! Ceviche is clean and fresh! Lorenzo is the BEST, took such great care of us! We will be back, for sure!

Yelp
Picture a tropical tourist restaurant and beach with cabanas and a pool near it, that's all this place is. We went to the restaurant to grab something to eat for lunch and got 2 fish and 1 shrimp taco plates (a plate with two tacos, some sliced avocado, a small serving of pico de gallo, and a very spicy "salsa") which each cost about $13 USD. One of the things we got was a hamburger aside from the taco plates. We waited a good 25-30 minutes before they came out with the food and to our surprise, the hamburger (we ordered it medium rare) was completely raw and uncooked. We instead got another fish taco plate. The tacos had a bunch of flavor and were good. About another 20 minutes after we had finished, we asked for our check because they never came over and they charged us originally for the raw hamburger. TL;DR: Service was bad, food was mediocre, and overall had a very touristy and non authentic vibe.

Yelp
Nice spot for a day experience. The pool was chilly but nice overall vibe and the cabanas on the beach were amazingly picturesque. Good margarita and food. That said, I got a 90 min massage and it was TERRIBLE. I have never walked out of a massage but I couldn't take it any more after 40 or so minutes. Although incredibly nice, the woman was clearly not a masseuse. And despite ending the massage early, we were charged for the full time. Take home: go for a day at the pool and beautiful beach views (including whales) but skip the spa!

Yelp
My girlfriends and I packed up and were excited to spend a day filled with massages, sunshine and enjoying the last day of our vacation. We arrived right as they opened in prep for our appointment for massage at noon. We wanted to coordinate reserving a beach cabana and we were quoted 500 pesos - we gladly agreed. Before going to the beach we wanted to relax by the pool for 45 minutes before our appointment times. Reasonable, right? Well that request apparently sent them over the edge. We relaxed in some pool chairs waiting for help and weren't brought towels. We had a few groups around us that got towels, drinks, and food. There were about 8 servers working, and none of them came to us. We had to go to them 2 times asking for towels and help with our umbrella. We also were told that one of the masseuses didn't show up and we would have to split our massages. At this point we were legitimately unset, and the attendant came to let us know the 2nd attendant showed up and brought us waters. This was 45 minutes after we arrived. In the end we were offended, felt disrespected and end up leaving upset. We were shocked at being treated this way. Maybe it was because we were three young women? Regardless, I wish we would have booked day passes at villa Santa Cruz or stayed at hotel San Cristobal.

Yelp
We had an amazing day at this off the beaten path beach club. We went on a Thursday and it was not crowded at all. Nice infinity pool, but the main thing we liked were the various options to lounge. They had the cocoon type sofa/ beds by the pool, the hanging beds on the beach, and the hammocks. Since there weren't that many people, we left our things by the pool and hopped around lounging. They had sand tots for the kids upon request and I saw another family request a volleyball. Nice touches. We were immediately greeted and given towels. Two of us had a 30 minute massage by Susanna. She was great. I fell asleep and she was kind enough to let me nap there on the massage bed. The drinks and food were good and reasonably priced. I'd definitely come again!

Yelp
What a great find! We spent a few days in Cabo and San Jose and dEcided to escape the city. El Faro Beach Club is secluded, yet has a good kitchen and a beautiful view of the sunset.

Debbie B.

Yelp
Alfonso & Chacon were fabulous. Happy, friendly, accommodating- great food & drink. Service beyond expectations! Love this place!!

Alexx D.

Yelp
over priced!!! initially at the door the lady explained that our entrance is free as long as we dine, and cabanas are 30+ usd, pool is 20.00 a person etc. After Dining here for 2 hours and a half, we asked for the bill only to find out we now have to pay an entrance fee of $20 a person. I wouldn't have mind paying if they stated the fee at the entrance or website. I felt that they took advantage of our group by not listing their policies upfront and invented some entrance fee when we ordered the bill. I would have given 5 stars if it wasnt for the made up fee they charged us. If u look on here other people confirm the entrance is "free" dont be fooled.

Yelp
We came on a Tuesday and almost had the place to ourselves. The people working there are extremely friendly! Good drinks, good food and extremely beautiful setting. Didn't use the spa just hung out at the pool/beach.

Yelp
This secluded little beach paradise is absolutely amazing. I went just after Thanksgiving and there was almost no one there! You drive down a winding and bumpy path off the main road (kind of hard to spot) and you are greeted by a lone black and white lighthouse (thus El Faro). There's a pool (since it's on the Pacific side, the water was way too choppy to get into) and volleyball courts set up. The lounge chairs were awesome but my favorite thing was definitely the beach bed swing. I felt like I had stepped into an alternate universe. My husband and I snacked on ceviche and fish tacos and spent the whole day napping, reading, and going to the bar to get drinks (they don't bring drinks down to beach swings). It was one of our favorite days in Cabo, just relaxing by the ocean.

Yelp
Be sure to call ahead and make a reservation. We called and got two massage reservations which also includes access to the pool/bar/beach cabanas for the entire day. Massages were great. Restaurant food was good. Overall a super peaceful and relaxing day on the beach.

Yelp
Based on the webiste and the recommendation of a friend, my friends and family visiting us for Easter, we decided to go to El Faro Beach Club this afternoon. Once we got there a nice woman approached and welcomed us. She then asked us if we were going to have drinks, food and use the pool. To which we said yes to all three. Immediately after that, she told us about $15 usd per adult and $10 usd per kids. I have lived in Cabo San Lucas for 14 years and I like to go to hotels for day passes regularly (Hilton, Sheraton, Casa Dorada, Playa Grande, Pueblo Bonito Sunset) and Beach Clubs (El Ganzo, SUR) and they all have a "minimun consumption fee". Which I completely agree with as a customer. If we want to be in a more exclusive atmosphere we are more than willing to pay the fee. Of course, that fee usually goes towards our food and drinks. There were 6 adults and 4 kids in our party. That came to $130 usd ($2600 mxn) just in cover charges. My mistake was assuming that your place was just like any other beach club I have visited throughout the time I have lived here. If I had understood properly, we definitely would not have stayed. I do understand that you have to make sure to filter the quality of your customers in order to prevent having 50 people drinking 1 bucket of beers and 2 waters. When I ordered the bill it came to $5975 mxn ($315 usd)of which 43% of that was "Cover Charges" Our bill on drinks and food was somewhere around $3300 mxn ($178 usd) I take full responsibility for not listening correctly to whoever greeted us, just wanted to let you know how disappointing it is to spend that $2600 mxn on "Cover Charges" alone ($137 usd). It is a little expensive for towels, a very cold pool (not heated as advertised on your website), the use of a bathroom and a VERY slow service (not more than 15 people in the entire place). It was very disappointing especially because we did have a great time, good food, average drinks even though the water was freezing. You have a nice place in the middle of nowhere and I know is not cheap to maintain a place like this, but I think that some better management needed to be applied here but there was nobody there to make a decision. We will not only never come back to this place, I will call the person that recommended me to say "Thanks" for sending me to a place that practices something that I thought ceased to exist in 1988 and I of course I will warn people I know about this bad business practice.

Yelp
Don't be deterred by the sprawling dirt road, it's lovely and seeing all the natural cactus and flora is such a wonderful introduction to what's waiting for you!!Greeted instantly both times with a fresh towel and spent two afternoons here and loved every minute of my time here. The staff are very kind and attentive and the cocktails are tasty and fair priced. The views of the beautiful beach are so incredibly spectacular. If you can get a swing bed near the ocean, pure magical bliss. I did not dine here, by others were very happy with the food here. I also did bit visit the spa, but the bathrooms are clean and provide a nice place to change into your swimsuit, plus rinse afterwards. If you are lucky, you will get to see the whales spouting and swimming, along with dolphins, many many pelicans and sweet song birds. Oh, and the ocean breeze and massive beach is unbelievable! What an incredibly very special place this is!

Yelp
We wanted to go to El Faro the last time we were here (December) but didn't make it. Came in May, had the octopus tostada and a margarita. It was soooo good! Can't wait to come back at the end of June and make a day of it!

Yelp
I can't say enough about the incredible service at El Faro!! We were greeted with a big smile every day for the three days we went here. They made us feel like we were guests in their home. The bartender's drinks were fantastic and you must indulge in a massage. I did three days in a row - perfect pressure, great oils. My friend and I were not guests at the hotel and we came here during the low season so it was also very tranquil with not too many people. I can't wait to come back here on a subsequent trip!

Yelp
We are staying at the Guaycura Hotel and this is their beech club. It's wonderful. The setting is dramatic and beautiful and the spa and club match the setting. The pool and spa area are very well maintained and the staff was outstanding. Both the food and drinks were great, and hit the spot. Definitely try the Toto's Santos ceviche...the mango mixed into it was delicious. I can't say enough about the staff...they were very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Cristo, works both at the hotel and the club and was awesome at both locations. If in Todos Santos go to El Faro. You can't go into the ocean because of the massive surf, but the infinity pool more than makes up for it. Enjoy!

Lee B.

Yelp
This is a quiet and beautiful restaurant right on the beach near Todos de Santos. Service and food were wonderful. The view and atmosphere are epic. To get there you have to drive down a short dirt road but the reward is a scenic restaurant, bar, spa, and pool free of any noise save the sound of the waves crashing on the shore and the wind blowing through the trees. The ocean breeze keeps the dining area cool even at the peak heat of the day. If you are in the area and want to press pause on the tumult of the world, come here.

DJay J.

Yelp
Small and overpriced, but a nice, secluded beach to enjoy.
