El Galleon/Asia Divers Resort

It was our first long stay of more than four days, and one thing is certain we’ll definitely come back! A great week of diving with my eldest son in Puerto Galera. El Galleon diving resort is top: good location, very friendly people, good food and reasonable prices. The rooms are quite comfortable, cosy and pleasanr. The dives are all quite rewarding with the density and the diversity of the fauna and flora. All taken care by Asia divers under the leadership of the nicest and skillful dive masters: Pete Eaton and Rose. Again here everyone is so helpful and friendly|Easy access from Singapore: 3,5 hours flight to Manilla, 2 hours drive and 45mn boat ride and you are in heaven 🤗

I did my Divemaster certification and internship with Asia Divers, and I don't think I could have made a better choice.||Everyone, from the directors (Allan and Tommy), to Allison, Andy the technical wizard, the complete list of instructors (Randy, Ruben, Pete, Rose, Arthur), Jenny at reception, the entire boat team, and the ladies at the restaurant... everyone was top notch and professional... and most importantly they were fun and approachable.||I had a wonderful month there learning how to be a well trained and effective DM. I learned lessons from everyone I listed, and received a good understanding of how the complete running of a shop is. Each instructor has their own personality and way of teaching, and I feel that gave me a very well rounded base to build from.||Whether it was sharing a meal (or tambay!) with the boat crew, going for post dive drinks with the instructors, or being invited on the Angels/Devils dives and Hash runs, the group here made me feel very welcome and included. It was tough to leave at the end, as not only did I make memories, I made friends.||Could not recommend this place enough. There are cheaper places in the Philippines if that is your only concern, but for me I wanted the best instruction that I can find and I did it.

This was a lovely place to stay. Stuff very helpful and friendly and the restaurant had the best food in Sabang. We ate here most nights after exploring Sabang restaurants. Definately the place to stay.

Great staff, great food, great diving, and a great place to stay. Our third trip of the year and none of them disappointed. Dive sites are all within minutes of the resort, and as the only resort with it's own jetty, it's easy to go to and from the sites.

The dive centre was right next to El Galleon which was incredibly convenient as we spent the week diving (4-5 dives per day). The food was very tasty and varied and there were plenty of options for vegans/vegetarians. The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful - I got sick while I was there and they took me to see a local doctor. I would definitely go back again on another trip to the Philippines.

Recently upgraded rooms, fantastic service and very friendly people, extensive menu of quality eats and plenty of bell ringing at the point bar, industry veterans and it shows.

I loved the resort, food,& SCUBA diving here! I will definitely be back to see this wonderful resort packed full of wonderful people who took great care of my group!
