El Hicaco Seafood

So many delicious sounding options. Our choices for our first visit are as follows Lobster w/ garlic sauce mash potatoes with veggies. The veggies alone were seasoned to perfection. Imagine remarking about onion and zucchini and there’s lobster on your plate! The shrimp with rice sounds simple but it’s thoroughly satisfying. We got sat right away without a reservation but to get the best tables over looking the water. It rained while we were there and our seats were covered unlike the best seats in the house lol. So be prepare to move if you do get those ocean view seats and bad weather. Jacob our server was great and didn’t steer us wrong. We will be back to see him.

The food wasn’t bad but I’ve notice when you’re with bigger groups in this part of Costa Rica, that try to bring everyone’s orders out at once instead of them bringing it as they are ready. My New York steak was not hot, it was barely warm. Outside of that, everyone enjoyed their food. I did NOT like their calamari. The flavor was good but it was too chewy. The lobster bisque was really good. I didn’t care for the drinks. I’m not much of a drinker but could tell they barely put liquor. The food alone was good enough for me to be willing to come back with a small group so my food is hot 😉 Also! The oysters were good and it was my first time trying them.

We stumbled upon this resturant on my boyfriend’s birthday and it was the best decision! I still think about the garlic lobster and the creamy mash potato. We were craving some champagne and they had some excellent options. They made us feel really special and the location is perfect for eating fresh seafood while looking out to sea. Would recommend for any special occasion & definitely child friendly and spacious as well.

We enjoyed watching the sunset and having dinner here! The ceviche and calamari were some of the best we’ve ever had. My husband enjoyed his fried red snapper. And I liked my octopus but it was too chewy. Overall really good and highly recommend!

I hosted a dinner for 13 people at Hicaco Seafood, and it was absolutely incredible! The service was efficient and attentive, making the entire evening smooth and enjoyable. The food? Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared—every dish was a hit! What made the experience even more special was the stunning view of the sunset. Dining with that breathtaking backdrop truly made for an unforgettable evening. If you're looking for amazing seafood, top-notch service, and a gorgeous setting, Hicaco Seafood is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Best ceviche I've ever had. First time trying it. 😅 Seriously though, this place is ON the beach with spectacular views and food quality is off the charts good. This place is gold. I'll be back!!!

A little expensive but well with it. All the seafood was perfect, fresh, and tasty. Great beach side location.

Nice al fresco dining, excellent seafood, however check your bill carefully, we were charged $66 US for 2 margarita’s that looked gorgeous but did not taste very good. We complained about the ridiculous price and they reduced the price 20%, still grossly overcharged.
