Great hotel with a nice swimming pool walking distance to the center of town. I really liked the colourful sheets on the bed. Secure, gated parking. Lovely breakfast included in the morning.

The hostel was very clean and the place is beautiful. There’s a pool with a very nice backyard. The hostel is situated in the center of the city. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend!!

The location of this hotel is excellent, just off the main plaza and close to wineries and restaurants. Despite its central location it was quiet and we got a good nights sleep. ||||The room was clean, reasonably sized and comfortable. The bathroom was clean as well and had a good shower with hot water. The wifi was ok, not great but useable.||||The breakfast was only ok, but came with eggs and good coffee. ||||For the money a really good choice.

Fantastic experience. Beautiful villa turned into a Hotel. The wonderful service by the staff and fantastic location are the high points. There's a very good breakfast included and their pricing is very competitive. Pillows could be a bit more confortable, and the wifi is not so great. But overall I highly recommend it.

We (father, mother, 21-year-old daughter) had a very pleasant single night here in a triple. We thought it was very good value, the accommodations being distinctly nicer than basic and the per-person cost about the same as if we had all checked into a dormitory hostel. The room had effective heat (calefaccion) and hot water, which really mattered on the quite cool late-June night. The atmosphere was very informal, laid back, and friendly. The location is excellent, just a single block from the charming plaza. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed i here 3 nights and we loved it. We had chosen the 'vip' room and were very pleased: a big room, terrace, wicker chairs and the swimmingpool right in front. The owner is a nice humoristic man! The location is superb and Cafayate is a nice, quiet place. We had a great time. They also have a small restaurant where you can eat delicious pizza and empanada. The breakfast was not very special!

Ok, so, true confession. I was in Argentina 10 years ago, in the south, did the full Torres del Paine trek and absolutely loved it. Spent some time in Buenos Aires after that and absolutely loved it. There is something about Argentina and in Cafayate it hit me big time again. Maybe it was partly due to the 3 days of biking through incredible scenery and people that it took me to get there. Head over heels again with Argentina.||||So, Hostal El Hospedaje, lovely and charming in unexpected ways like so much of what I saw and experienced in Salta. People just so grounded and happy, beauty everywhere, horses everywhere, wine everywhere. The little white dog un-premise is a perfect example (he pops up in some of the photos). ||||Room was comfortable, building obviously older but well taken care of. Loved the courtyard and all the old stuff decorating the lobby and the eating area. Food at breakfast was very basic, they did give us eggs the 2nd morning but I think that was by special arrangement. NW Argentina, breakfasts tend to be very simple.
