El Jannah Chicken Burwood

Try it for the first time and it was horrible. Not sure what’s the hype is, maybe i should give it another go at Granville?. Charcoal chicken taste burn, dryer than my food dryer, even Coles chicken is better. Garlic Sauce taste really nice (the only thing that’s worth it), chips r decent and fried chicken is mid. Staff is great helpful, clean restaurant.

Bought takeaway chicken here. Usually decent. Chicken was not fully cooked and had to throw half of it away. The worst part is I left feedback through their official channel and rather than offering a refund they sent a generic message saying they will do better. What a joke when undercooked chicken can make people sick. Won't be coming back here again.

What happened to them……….. Their quality went down so badly. Burned chicken. I ll show you in photos. I went there to have some nice charcoal chicken but when I saw all chicken look like in pictures I have to turned away. It’s so disappointing what they are famous for, cannot do proper way.

This El Jannah is by far my favourite, the chicken is always fresh delicious and wait times are not long at all. If the manager Michael Hayek is working then you know that your going to be looked after. The place is extremely clean and the staff seem to work like a well-oiled machine. Consistently good food. Friendly and helpful staff. During a recent visit for lunch, the place was busy as usual. Despite the constant stream of people coming in, orders were filled quickly. It was great that we didn't have to wait long at all for our food.

First visit to El Jannah. Ordered the Loaded Chicken meal. Too much for 2 people. The chicken was too dry for me. The hummus was good, the tabouleh was fresh, the chips with chicken salt was great. You get a good size tub of garlic sauce and an insane amount of Lebanese bread. There's plenty of tables. Staff are good at cleaning tables but not the seats. Service was ok and food came out pretty fast. Ended up taking the babaganoush and leftovers home.

when we first came in all the tables were dirty and we told them if they could clean it but they didnt and after a while i got up again and asked them again and they finally cleaned it, then when we got out food the cutlery was not cleaned properly and there was still old food marks on them and it made me very disgusted, then they forgot our drinks and we had to get up and ask them for it and they fridge was literally empty they had almost no drinks and then the staff were fighting at the back we didnt know what was happening and it was very loud, then we ate our food and the food was alright but the fries were old and looked like they just reheated it and then gave it to us. eljannah, more like eljahanam.

Have been their almost regular customer for their yummy charcoal chicken! Used to be their Granville customer but now by expanding branches, I’m a Burwood customer:) Food is perfect: 5/5 Atmosphere : 5/5 ( as a cozy restaurant yes its 5) Staff: Very friendly and fast! Recommended for new 1/2 deluxe chicken meal (Very economical! )
