Beautiful setting, average food. The falafel was dry, the hummus flavorless, the entire mezze sampler disappointing. Our second starter, the Aleppo aubergine, tasted delicious at first, but it was so sweet that it got tiring after two or three bites. As a main dish, we had the couscous with "Retinto" beef, caramelised onions & raisins. Although the best part of our dinner, it was not as flavorful as the ingredients would suggest. On the positive side, the restaurant is situated in a beautifully restored building from the 16th century. There are different dining areas, including a patio with palm trees. Reservations are a must, especially in July and August.
