I enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the garden. Everything was perfect. The setting is beautiful and cool on a summer’s day. The service is excellent and the food is unforgettable. I wished I could come back everyday for a month to try everything on the menu.

Wonderful restaurant in a unique setting. Surrounded by the old fortified wall, under palm trees. The decor is very welcoming.
The restaurant was very accommodating, found us a table without reservation.
The food was amazing, we had some appetizers, tajines and couscous, and then some Moroccan pastries and mint tea for desert.
Everything was delicious, perfectly balanced spices, cooked to tenderness. Even our kids ate without complaining, and said it was some of the best food they had.
Great experience.

Beautiful setting, average food. The falafel was dry, the hummus flavorless, the entire mezze sampler disappointing. Our second starter, the Aleppo aubergine, tasted delicious at first, but it was so sweet that it got tiring after two or three bites. As a main dish, we had the couscous with "Retinto" beef, caramelised onions & raisins. Although the best part of our dinner, it was not as flavorful as the ingredients would suggest. On the positive side, the restaurant is situated in a beautifully restored building from the 16th century. There are different dining areas, including a patio with palm trees. Reservations are a must, especially in July and August.

I had lunch there: food was very tasty, service fast and friendly. And the place is wonderful, a small jewel. The only point it's to park close to the restaurant: I went in the middle of the day and it was quite simple, in the evening you need to be there in advance.

It's "Moroccan food" for non Moroccans, meaning it's bland, lacking spices and flavours.
Beautiful setting, average service.
Definitely overpriced, overrated and not memorable.
A fancy tourist trap.

Only stayed the one night but its a beautiful hotel/restaurant. A little tricky negotiating the stairs within the hotel if your tall but great staff and ambiance. Cosy room near the restaurant, clean and tidy. Food was Moroccan, great house Meze.
