This is a amazing hotel. It is clean and has a lot of original features. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly man who showed us around and explained where everything was whereabouts. The hotel has an amazing garden, a terrace you can sit out on and tremendous views of the mountains. The hotel is on a square and we got parked no problems. If the square is full there is a car park just up the street. Breakfast is available for €10 per person but can't say anything about that as we haven't had it yet. A really lovely hotel and wouldn't hesitate in coming back if we were this way again. Fabulous

What a delightful hotel , a wonderful welcome , a lovely building and an amazing garden even in January. Only a few minutes from the motorway but in a different world. The village is very picturesque and there are lots of walks around plus a disused railway track with stunning vistas. And then there is breakfast …..absolutely scrumptious with homemade jams, cakes, local pollen to put on the wide selection of fruits and yoghurts. All in all a great night’s stay en route from France to Portugal.

Everything from initial enquiry to check out was excellent. Amos communicates really well in English. We parked our car and Amos helped moving our bikes to secure storage. He gave us a guided tour of the hotel and explained we were free to use any facilities we wanted. The terrace overlooking the gardens is lovely and if we visit again we'll arrive a little earlier and enjoy a drink as the sun sets. Room comfortable. Breakfast was really good. Fresh coffee topped up at the table and fresh fruit, preserves, cakes, meat, cheese etc. Hope to be back next year.

If you like your hotels with character and a little quirky, this one's for you. It's about a minute's walk from the centre of the village, but it's a haven of calm and beauty. The building itself is a treat, and the bedroom full of character. Pride and joy though, is the lovingly tended garden, which you can enjoy to the full. Our bedroom had access to a terrace overlooking the garden too - a perfect spot from which to enjoy a passing storm.

We stayed here for four nights and really loved the place. The old building has been prepared with lots of love for the small details. Old furniture and the decoration make it a cosy place you feel comfortable the moment you step inside. Beds very comfortable, almost no noise outside, so we got a good sleep. You can also use the terrace on the first floor, overlooking the well kept garden from again comfortable seats. The hosts are very friendly and offer a great breakfast by Spanish standards. Don't expect fried eggs and bacon or sausages, but instead you have a choice of several cheeses, good ham, fresh fruit and fresh fruit salad, homemade marmalades, freshly squeezed orange juice and in general ítems of good quality, with a view of the garden and usually they have classical music as a background. Parking can be a bit tricky, the first day we were lucky and found a place just in front of the entrance, the other days we had to leave the car a few minutes walking away. The town centre is a few steps away with many options for food and drink. Absolutely lovely place!

Awesome place, clean, very comfortable. The staff was fantastic and got to speak with the owners which advised me on best walking tracks and local insights, that made my stay perfect. Great village to walk around and perfectly position amongst many local tourist attractions. The village has a pool for summer 2€ the entry fee. You must try the breakfast in-house that provides unique views to the garden. @ night you can hear classical music in the garden and watch the stars.

A cosy hotel with very attentive service. It has a well-maintained garden where you can pleasantly relax in the sun and do some reading. The breakfast is home-made with good quality ham and cheese. Though it’s located in the town centro, the surrounding is very quiet. Will definitely stay here again if we go back to Herbás.

We stayed for four nights in the junior suite. We were made very welcome by all the family owners. Cosy, comfortable room, well looked after. Breakfast is a highlight - all local produce or home-made (jams), and great big cups of strong coffee. Parking is usually on the square outside, but it's full at weekends and you may need to park a couple of hundred metres away. It rained most of the time we were there, but we would imagine that in the warmer months the garden, and the first floor terrace, are beautiful, with roses, camellias and fruit trees.
