El Ladrón de Agua Palacete

I am so glad I chose El Ladrón de Agua from the many options for places to stay in Granada. The building is beautiful, a couple of minutes from the Plaza Nueva, and my apartment was simply wonderful - spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished and equipped. I particularly liked the fact that all around the building there are references to Spanish and Andalucian culture. The hosts had provided a generous selection of food and drink to start me off. They obviously really care about making guests feel comfortable and they could not have been kinder and more helpful. They even walked with me to the railway station on the day I left as there was a festival taking place in the city and finding a taxi would have been impossible. I thought that was just so kind. All in all, I rate this as one of the best places I have stayed anywhere.

We stayed here for 3 nights. What an excellent location and the service provided us was exceptional. The rooms were delightful, clean and comfortable with facilities that ensured a great stay. Particularly loved the laundry after travelling for some time it was a welcome relief to have fresh clothes. I inadvertently left my kindle behind in our room and the manager traveled (20 min drive) to the railway station where we were to depart Granada to reunite me with my device. Amazing and so thoughtful.

This place is really good. You are at the heart of the old town in a beautifully renovated merchant house with boutique design rooms of very high quality. Free use of washing machine and full automatic coffee machine in the appartment. The hosts helped us out with last minute Alhambra tickets, forever grateful for that!

This place is amazing; very new, clean, and beautifully furnished. The owners are incredibly welcoming and generous. We requested early check-in and late check-out, and they not only accommodated us but also upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment at no extra charge. The location is excellent; very close to the city center, markets, and just a 20-minute walk to the Alhambra Palace. Beautiful city and beautiful people!

Amazing stay - if you have a chance to stay here, jump on it. There is a soul to the hotel. Functionally, the WiFi was perfect (worked remotely for a week with tons of video calling), the sound proofing was fantastic, and there’s no better location to explore or simply enjoy Granada from. Remarkable hosts, ask them for the story of the place. Little details were all thought through when they remodeled this.

We had an incredible stay at the El Ladrón de Agua in Granada. The design of the rooms is impeccable and gorgeous. Well furnished with all the amenities. We loved our apartment with a balcony overlooking the river and under the Alhambra. Perfect location at the base of the Albaícin. Our hosts were so helpful and friendly, with many great local recommendations. I can't wait to come back!

We stayed here in November over a weekend are were incredibly impressed. The location is perfect for exploring Grenada - you're right in the middle of old town and an easy walk to everything. The hotel has recently be refurbished and everything is beautifully presented. The staff were very helpful and the check-in super smooth. The electronic locks on the apartment doors meant we didn't need to worry about forgetting our keys, which was great for us. The apartment itself was really well equipped. The kitchen had everything you could need, there was a TV with lots of channels, there were really nice toiletries supplied and plenty of very soft towels. The bed was so comfortable - we slept wonderfully. We cannot recommend this place enough and we would not hesitate to book this hotel again next time - it was perfect for us!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. This beautiful Palace has a very unique architectural design with a modern twist. The apartment was very comfortable, very clean with all the amenities. It is within walking distance to Alhambra Palace and to the city center. Our hosts Olga and Miguel are very kind. Will definitely return again.
