If you’re looking for a place to chill and relax, this family park fits perfectly. There are lots of trees, wide paths, several fountains as well as food and beverage carts. You can rent electric cars for kids, or just watch people stroll, jog, skate, pedal and dance. Clearly it’s popular with the locals.

Nice park, busy during the evening. We were there on a Friday evening, quite busy and nice atmosphere. A little more green would be nice, like a field of grass.

A neighborhood park that offers spaces for large group gathering, playground for the kids and pets, greenery for everyone to enjoy.

El Llano Park is favored by local families.
I sat on a foldable wooden bench purchased for comfort on Av Benito Juarez at the El Llano Park.
I was told to get there early, around 2:30 pm to grab the best view of the Guelaguetza Parade.
A stranger, Karla sat near me with an umbrella.
I heard her say that her cell phone lacked energy.
I offered to take the photos and send them to her, but I needed her umbrella protection. My phone was stored in a waterproof bag with a strap crossed around my shoulder.
WhatsApp allowed me to easily communicate by text and send her the photos.

Hit it 👍🏿! A park that is used by lots of locals and has some amazing eats. A little further away from the crowds makes the food better price and a little less busy. I would suggest doing a lap and seeing what you like. Most of the places that have the longer lines definitely point out the best options.

My favourite park in the city of Oaxaca. Visited in October 2021, park is very clean and safe. Perfect place to go for families on the weekend. Inline skating courses, judo classes, lots of food sellers and toy/ballon sellers.

Basically Oaxaca City’s Central Park… surprisingly in need of repair especially the children’s playgrounds with dangerous and outdated swings and slides. This park is a great and popular destination that needs attention by the local government since it is seen by many tourists and represents Oaxaca in many ways.

Beautiful local park. Events on major holidays. Safe for walking at night

Yelp
Not a particularly flashy park--it has the statues and a few playground pieces that look well maintained for kids to play on. The highlight on my visit here was the Zumba class taught by a flamboyant man who was absolutely the life of the party and had the class of ladies dancing with him.

Yelp
We were actually in Parque Juarez El Llano. It's a beautiful park just outside the real central Oaxaca. It has a fountain and so much life is happening in the park. When we were there there were people shining shoes, playing instruments, selling ice cream, and even doing bike tricks! It's such a cool park and awesome to see and be apart of the community culture in Oaxaca.
