El Llano

A large and peaceful park to rest... When last time I visited, there was a band playing music with trumpets and drums in sync, which was good. There's also an ice cream vendor. But I don't recommend that. That's damn expensive.

Really cool place to go and chill for a little bit. Lots of shade and places to sit. There are some places to grab food and sit I. The park and enjoy. The park is clean; no trash. I did not see any bathroom around. Enjoy!

Tripe taco stand next to the SpongeBob SquarePants slide. Mostly a women run crew. Order 2 or 3 or even 4 little tacos and have the time of your life with a soda. The red sauce is a little spicy but nothing too bad. Hit the spot.

If you’re looking for a place to chill and relax, this family park fits perfectly. There are lots of trees, wide paths, several fountains as well as food and beverage carts. You can rent electric cars for kids, or just watch people stroll, jog, skate, pedal and dance. Clearly it’s popular with the locals.

Nice park, busy during the evening. We were there on a Friday evening, quite busy and nice atmosphere. A little more green would be nice, like a field of grass.

Not a particularly flashy park--it has the statues and a few playground pieces that look well maintained for kids to play on. The highlight on my visit here was the Zumba class taught by a flamboyant man who was absolutely the life of the party and had the class of ladies dancing with him.

We were actually in Parque Juarez El Llano. It's a beautiful park just outside the real central Oaxaca. It has a fountain and so much life is happening in the park. When we were there there were people shining shoes, playing instruments, selling ice cream, and even doing bike tricks! It's such a cool park and awesome to see and be apart of the community culture in Oaxaca.
