El Maple

Excellent vegan & vegetarian menu and very low cost. Great atmosphere---wood floors & furniture, plants, books. Staff helped me through my lack of Spanish to order and everything was timed well. Would absolutely visit again.

Whenever I go somewhere new I like to try out the vegetarian restaurants. In London they ha e Meredith's, Ethiopia nearly all the restaurants offer tips. In Ecuador, a meat centric location, has el maple in quito. I tried their take on a traditional meal. It was nice. I think the menu has undergone changes over the years as previous reviews mention pizza. Those no longer are offered. Location was nearby the hotel. Lively neighborhood in the evenings. On a Friday I felt sage to wander around after dark but it was spent before 10pm. Glad this restaurant is here when 95% serm to cater to traditional meat based meals.

Amazing vegetarian/vegan restaurant! Everything we ordered was delicious including the Philly cheesesteak, hot dog, pizza, and samosas. It can be hard to find vegetarian options while traveling let alone a good vegetarian restaurant, but El Maple is for sure a hidden gem! I also really liked that many menu items were offered as both vegetarian or vegan. The place is very cute inside and we were even greeted by a cute white cat while waiting to pick up our food! 10/10 recommend when visiting Quito

This place is amazing. For this time since going plant based i had a "steak with rice and beans"! It was absolutely delicious. We ordered way too much food and tried everything we could. We even stopped here to pick up dinners before our flight out of Quito. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely quiet place to have healthy food. And hosted by a cat! What can go wrong? Service may be slow, but the food is worth the wait.

One of the best meals I've ever had. I got the Asian tofu with rice noodles. Honestly it was next level, highly recommend. Staff are lovely too and nice atmosphere restaurant. They have many vegan options too and a big selection of desserts to try. Also they have a small organic shop inside ✨ Gracias

This is a pretty good restaurant. The staff is very nice and the portions are large and creative. The food itself is pretty good but not spectacular. Good price. We ended up getting pizza at the end because we were not totally satiated. Pizza is always good.

This place was a delicious surprise! I am a vegetarian but my other three traveling companions are not. Nevertheless they are adventurous and decided to try the place out with me. We all Loved it so much that we visited a second time!! The sandwiches and veggie burgers were on point. The special of the day was enough food for two people. The coffee was also the best but when you finish it off with the Tiramisu cake...you are in heaven!! The second time around my friends had the pizza which they de lured and Inhad the ravioli...yum! I wish we had this place at home!!! Fresh wholesome food for an incredible affordable price!
