"Leafy Greens El Mercadito, whose value proposition of “friendly & fresh”, lives up to its promise with an international menu of gourmet salads, sandwiches and burgers (including veggie). The food is consistently wholesome and delicious, down to the fresh vegetable and fruit juices blended on the spot. Most restaurants in Mendoza offer a menu of meat, milanesas, empanadas, pizza and pastas; so Mercadito’s leafy greens are quite a novelty in this beef capital. The salmon entrée on the dinner menu is cooked to perfection. The restaurant’s antique-garage decor and spacious outdoor terrace are all part of its charm. Arístides 521; +54 261 463 8847"

Great restaurant, fully recommended! Tasty food, good service and a really nice and quiet garden (especially in comparison to the rest of Aristides). We've been here twice and would definitely come back. Must try their Bife de chorizo and the Empanadas, really yummy!

In my first day I came across this wonderful spot. Young and fresh decor, good food (i had a lomita sandwich) funky music all adds up. Also this is open during the day if you want to have a later lunch or early dinner (very hard to find in Argentina) Xavier was very professional and helped me with my choices. This would be a place I would revisit.

We came for late lunch as my wife was working remote. We ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, ate empanadas as starter and then a beautiful milanesa with salad. She (wife) was tired of too much meat, so she decided to go for the mediterranean fettuccine. It was spectacular, food, wine and service (5 stars!) After eating, we decided to go for a walk in aristides and after doing some sightseeing we decided to come back to the place we were happy :) Thanks a lot for having us, for the beautiful service, for the buena onda and for the spectacular food. We will be back ❤️

A real gem in what is otherwise mostly touristy places. I had the best empanadas I have ever tried. The shell was basically a pastry crust that was warm and flaky, and it was filled with delicious braised beef. It cam with an olive oil, red onion and herb salsa that was fresh and flavorful. Outstanding. We also had a sandwich with bread that was "sin TACC", i.e., gluten free. We thought they made a mistake and gave us regular bread, but they didn't. It was made with chick pea flour and it was probably the closest gluten-free bread to flour-based bread I have ever tried. The salad had fresh ingredients and was beautifully presented. The price was surprisingly modest for what we had. Really a great place to go for lunch in Mendoza.

We had a great lunch at El Mercadito. The salads were fresh and tasteful. Kim was extremely friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was upbeat. We will definitely return.

Great food. But I would do some minor changes like less onion in the tiradito and more mushrooms. And the lentil of the ensalada should be cooked as the toasted ones are way to hard and not comfortable to eat. If they were soft would be much better. But the veggie burger was amazing and the capelettis as well! Service and atmosphere were great

After walking around all day on a chill fall day, this place felt like stepping into a magical summertime garden. Beautiful fresh flowers on all the tables, plants all around, beautiful outdoor area to eat in. The food was just as divine - walking that perfect balance of light, filling, flavorful and fresh. We had the chicken brothers and steak sandwich and both were delicious! The service here was amazing as well. Quick, attentive and very gracious. Overall, a wonderful lunch!

We were looking forward to eat at el Mercadito and our experience didn't go as well as we wanted. The empanadas that we got as a starter were really tasty and hot. We also enjoyed the salsa criolla that provided a fresh touch. Our mains, the fish and pork didn't taste as good. The pork dish had an overwhelming amount of soy sauce that was spread through the whole dish making it really intense and not enjoyable. The fish dish was subpart, the vegetable were huge and the seasoning wasn't on point. Making it a very bland choice. The service through the night was ok. We wouldn't come back.
