I had the CJ Plate (one brisket taco, one cheese enchilada, queso, rice, and beans. It was delicious and the margaritas are great. I ordered the homemade bread pudding to go and it’s the best bread pudding I’ve ever had. On top of all the good food, the staff were really friendly and attentive.

We had a good lunch here with a nice waiter who was friendly and curious about us coming all the way from Sweden. It was a kind of slow day so not many other customers and we got our food quickly. The waiter was nice enough to let us try a fried pepper since we said we liked spicy food.

We were looking for a lunch spot after visiting the LBJ Library and a security guard there highly recommended this place. The chips and salsa that we munched on while waiting for our entrees were top notch. The shrimp tacos and brisket tacos were good, not great. Service was pleasant and attentive.

Not the greatest Tex mex I’ve ever had plus the margarita had too much sweet n sour. Would venture out a few more blocks to look for somewhere else to eat!

The food was so so the service was very slow and the drink was just ok. Was disappointed because it was recommended as a good tex-mex place.

We had such good service here and the food was good at a reasonable price! I would recommend walking here if you paid parking at the Bullock Texas History Museum. This was a great recommendation from an employee at the museum and we were so glad we took his advice. It is a family friendly restaurant and we had no complaints.

Amazing food and great staff! Their salsa is delicious and as a local Texan, us a big compliment. Taco salad is bomb and huge for only $10
