I had a great brunch at El Mesón de Don Evaristo. The ambiance is beautiful and very traditional, with a fountain, lots of plants, and a skylight right in the middle that fills the space with natural light. It feels calm, welcoming, and special.
The service was excellent and attentive, and the menu offers a wide variety of authentic Mexican dishes. I tried the Tío Breakfast, and we also ordered the chilaquiles. Both were outstanding, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.
They are also very family-friendly, with a high chair and a changing table, which makes it easy to enjoy a relaxed meal with babies and toddlers. Definitely a wonderful brunch spot with great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere.
