El Milagro Restaurant

Highly recommend dining at El Milagro. Very good nachos with habanero queso. Delicious frito pie. Check out their Mushroom Green Chile Burger and Cheese Green Chile Burger were very good. Excellent service, Pat is always the best! Thank you for your hardwork.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch including beef tacos and the chicken guacamole tacos (shown in picture). The beef tacos were a little greasy, but my husband said they were very good. The chicken guacamole tacos has a generous portion of both the chicken and guacamole. Have napkins ready! The salsa was good with just the right amount of spice. For a slight up charge, their French fries are a yummy side. They have limited hours, so check the website before going.

I don't know if these are the best Chile cheese fries in Santa Fe, but I'm nominating them ! The "Milagro" green chile cheeseburger is one of the best in the city (comes in 6oz, 8oz, 12oz and 14oz options) and service is always friendly.

This is the second time I have eaten there, 10/30/25 in the past 9 months or so, and the same waitress/hostess was there both times. And she did not add to the experience she took away from it. She was rude to my elderly mother on the visit 9 months ago or so. We should have left but we were so hungry we decided to stay. And today it seemed like she was medicated or high on something. She looked like she was literally floating in her head. She was stuttering and couldn't find her right words and of course not friendly and welcoming at all. She told this man to go sit at that table over there and when he said this table, she said no that one, but really rude like he was stupid, when she didn't even point out which table to sit at in the first place. She just gestured in that general direction. Because of her I won't be going back. Anthony, I hope you read this. The food is good. You need to have better service.

Burgers were great, those of us who ordered them loved them. The fries were a little undercooked, but tasty. The chicken enchilada was ok. The chicken was a bit dry and overcooked, ordered with green chile on the side so it was very noticeable. Beans and rice we're good. I'd definitely go back for the burgers though.

Everything we wanted to ordered they were out of. Even the fountain drink machine was out. They charged $4 for a can of soda that they bought at the store and are illegally retail selling. No ranch, no sweet potato fries, multiple items on the menu were not available.

Everything was fine, and the food was good, but in Santa Fe, you can find vastly superior renditions of all of the above. Cafe Castro's up the street has much better red chile and enchiladas at about the same price. My wife had the Santa Fe Chicken sandwich; it was OK, too. The green chile on it was pretty good. The fries could have been great since they are thick and have the skins on, but they were soggy. Had they been fried correctly, they could have been great. Service was (like the food) OK, not the friendliest server, but efficient. In a town like Santa Fe, with exceptional New Mexican food and burgers, I can't recommend you go out of your way to go here unless you're really curious. It's fine, it's just OK, it's nothing special IMHO.

Great little place. We’ve been here several times. The green chile cheeseburger is one of the best around. Great friendly service on top of the great food, you can’t go wrong.

After an hour of plant shopping, we decided to refuel at this cute spot near Lowes. Very cozy with lovely murals on every wall. We were greeted and seated almost immediately, which was a great thing. In five minutes the place filled up and some folks were waiting outside the door. Great menu with a variety of options, even for kids. Since we were going home to garden, we thought the Milagro Dog and some sweet potato fries would be perfect. They make their red chile con carne from scratch, using chiles grown locally. It had the perfect amount of heat and a delicious flavor. The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Yum! At the table near us, two gentlemen each had double meat green chile cheeseburgers and fries that looked amazing! We will definitely come back to explore more of their menu.

We have lunch here once a week and the service is great. Patricia always greets us with a smile, her customer service is exceptional and the food is great.

Took my Mom Here Twice had a Great Experience the Food Was Totally Awesome that's why we went Back! However on our Second Visit They Somehow Wrapped our order to Go! Huh? We thought nothing of it and Happily Ate our lunch out of Styrofoam Boxes! It Turns out The Server Had a Very Serious Problem with me and Went out and Sought out one of my Family Members only to Feed Them Lies! Told my Family Member that I Have to Have Everything Special and in order! HuH? Mind you We are Handicapped! If your a Local and Be Careful Because you as a Patron of this Place this Person will go out and Find your Family and Blatenly Tell Lies About You! I'm Sorry El Milagro Owners but you Lost my Business and I'm out Warning Others!!!!!!!!!!!!

As readers can see, I'm concentrating my review on the subjective quality of the food, not its number of diners, which the owner seems to feel is more important than addressing a review of the food which is mediocre.

Authentic Northern New Mexican food in a charming casual atmosphere. I don't think they have vegan options but if you can handle dairy the cheese enchiladas are authentic and delicious. Northern NM is known for excellent red chile and this place didn't disappoint! I got my enchiladas "Christmas style" which means both red and green but if I went back I would just do red. Their green is good but the red is excellent. Got "Christmas style" chile fries as well. Without the cheese it may be vegan. I'm not sure and didn't ask! Fries were thick cut skin on and spicy! It would be really nice if they had more vegetarian options. Would have loved to have a green chile veggie burger but the enchiladas and fries were great!

Tried the green chile cheeseburger and have to say it was excellent. The bun fell apart, but that didn't stop me from cleaning the plate. The triple dipper app was also good

Decided to try this restaurant since it was highly recommended by quite a few locals. Food is great, price reasonable and service is great. Tried the chicken nacho appetizer which was huge and a meal itself alone. Also, tried the 12 oz green chille cheeseburger and fries. The cheese burger is offered in different sizes and cooked perfectly, and the fries were fresh hand cut and excellent. Server was friendly and attentive. We got seated immediately for dinner and I noticed they close early at about 7pm. Will return to try something different.

Tried to go in again today. Closed at 2:15 on a Saturday. Really sad, they have great green chile cheeseburgers. Hours are Stupid. Not worth chasing them around hoping they haven't changed their hours again.

Food is always good. Prices are average Santa Fe prices. The lady who works here is awesome.

Hours posted says 11 to 7 on Friday. Arrived at 5:52 the young hostess informed us that they were closing in 8 minutes? When asked what that meant, or if we only had 8 minutes to eat , she said it was "RUDE" to walk in 8 minutes before they closed. Again, posted closing said 7. Being shocked about being called "rude " by the hostess she began to argue with us about it. Will never return or recommend.

Went in for a late lunch. Had read the Fork review on the GCCB and had to try it. Was impressed that the diner had 4 size choices - 6, 8, 12, 16 ounces and the degree of doneness. My wife wanted onion rings which they were out of. We were surprised when the burgers were served with the onion rings which had just been restocked. A tribute to the service. All was tasty - the 12 oz barely fit on the bun. Green chile was spicy but not overwhelming. Walls were full of murals. Service overall was attentive. Prices were very reasonable, on a par with competitors who don't measure up.

This is good stuff! Had the Frito Pie - best I have found in town. Will go back for the burger - as so many people have said it is the best in town.

We had a bad experience last Saturday. From the attendant to the wait time to the wrong order and the food. I followed up on Monday and the same attendant was rude per usual and said the manager was too busy to talk to me. Not sure what happened to this place in such a short amount of time. We won't be back.

They have the best burgers and the nicest staff The one in Santa Fe I is the best I love it I is so cool.

My wife and I have eaten here twice recently and both times were good. The food was good, I highly recommend the burger with mushrooms and swiss on it. The sweet potato fries were soggy both times but the house fries were delicious. The first time we came we got our food fairly quickly, but the last time it took 45 minutes to get two burgers even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. Thankfully we weren't in a hurry. My wife gets their special green chile cheeseburger and it seems like the price has gone up, I remember it being much cheaper a few years ago but it's almost $9 for a small one. The first waiter was friendly, but we had to flag him down for refills and silverware. The second one was more on top of things but looked buzzed, even though they don't serve alcohol. Overall good food and fine service. If it hadn't been for the wait and the soggy fries I would give it five stars.

Great hand made burger tucked into a little storefront. Service was fantastic and the food had great flavor!

I don't regulary come to El Milagro; not sure why, just never really appealed to me - maybe it's the blah storefront! Well, the better half and I walked in for dinner and stood there for what seemed pretty close to eternity, while the host was on the computer working out a bill. He never looked at us, never acknowledged us, didn't say, "Welcome, so sorry, but I'm shorthanded and just need a few minutes." Shoot, by this time even a, "Beat it, I don't have time for you, and I hate your hairdoo" would have been better than crickets! Well, he finally finished what he was doing and seated us, and the rest of the dinner was pleasant. The green chile cheese burger, with sweet potato fries is really good here (and something you need to try), but I opted for something different: I ordered the Enchilada Trio, which includes a beef, chicken, and cheese enchilada, with two sides of your choice, which was a nice option, and topped it with Christmas (red and green chile). It was a wonderfully delicious plate, and well worth not being able to keep my stomach sucked in while I walked out! And, yes, they have sopapillas with honey! Un-ending soda fountain keeps coming as well, and they do have Diet DP, one of my favs! So, all in all, nice dinner, great food, so so atmosphere, decent prices and great company ;) Oh, so back to the host - he was really pleasant, and did a great job for us the rest of the evening. I'm going to assume that it was a tough night for him, too much going, super busy, etc., and that his lack of greeting was not normal.

Its looked like a great place on the outside and we were excited to try the burger that's advertised on the front window, sadly it didn't reach anywhere close to expectations. First thing wrong was it took about 15 mins to be seated by the only employee in the front of the house, normally I would be understanding while an establishment is under staffed but there were only two tables occupied. Next, I ordered iced tea but this tea had been so diluted that it was nothing but discolored water. We ordered our food, something simple; a burger and two chicken tacos. We didn't receive our food for almost an hour and everything was either frozen or premade, nothing tasted like fresh ingredients. They were out of French fries and offered a substitute but still charged us $4 for 8 onion rings. The service was mid, the food was terrible, and when I tried to express concern our server just walked away. Will absolutely not be eating there again. It hurts my heart to have to write a poor review because I've been working F&B for more than a decade and understand things can go wrong but this situation is unacceptable considering their reputation and price point

Deliciously spicy red sauce on chicken enchiladas. They offer blue corn tortilla which was something special as well. Ate here in rebellion to the Thai place next door. No regrets.

My wife and I attempted to have lunch there today. There website says they open at 11:00 am. We were there at 11:00, saw someone go inside but doors were locked. A woman saw us outside but made no attempt to either unlock the door or explain why the doors were still locked after 11:00 am. We won't be returning!

This place is one of the best kept secrets in a town filled with overpriced and hyped restaurants. The special is one of the best tasting and priced burgers I have ever had, and has a home cooked taste to it, with the Green Chile being the perfect spice. It may not be the most efficient place, but the wait is well worth the food.

The help there sucks. Were sitting there for 10 minutes weren't even acknowledged. We finally left.

Service was pretty good on a Saturday night (not too many people here). I received prompt service and attention. The 2 servers that night were attentive and hard working. They both worked together as a team to make sure I had my questions answered and were patient while I examined the menu. I received the free chips + queso for checking into the establishment - the cheese was textured funny and didn't resemble nacho cheese. It was kinda spicy, but I recommend opting for the salsa next time. I ended up ordering the 12 oz Milagro Burger and was very happy with it. I could tell by the sizzling thick slices of bacon that it was made fresh. When it came to price though, I don't know if I'd pay $13 for this. I was planning to use my Yelp $5 for $10 coupon, but saw it didn't apply on Fri/Sat when I came in. I ended up paying full price, but I came in after church to try the Bacon Cheddar Avocado Burger (the other one that looked super good). More to review later.

This place is delicious with fantastic service. I've eaten here twice; first time I had a green chili burger with fries and the second time I had a frito pie. Very flavorful. We had a different waitress each time and both were welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to try the whole menu.

Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced. I placed an order to go and after 3 attempts they still didn't have it right, but since I had been waiting an hour already I decided to cut my loses and take what they last provided. I was overcharged of course for all the extras that they added to the bill but again, cut my loses and left.

The service was good as was the burger. Far from the best burger in town. The children's burger was burned. I sent it back for another and it was almost just as bad. The fries were terrible, they didn't look or taste like potato. They tasted like fish and were dark brown in color.

Not even sure how to put my words into thoughts. All I can think is Delicious!!! My boyfriend and I decided to stop here after a long day of holiday shopping. We got a last minute family emergency and had to order to go. The waiter understood and packed all our food efficiently. The staff was super friendly and when we were able to eat our food later, it beat my expectations. Best burger EVER. I can't wait to eat here, inside the restaurant very soon.

Terrible service. They out right lie about how long your delivery offer is taking. Blame the driver..told me he had picked it up over ten minutes ago He time stamped his video of arriving and order wasn't even ready then let alone picked up 10 minutes ago. Kept calling back to the establishment. Voicemail and then mailbox is full. Total scam.

This restaurant hAs the best $6.95 green chile burger and the fries are chunky and delicious. I just discovered this place two weeks ago and have eaten there twice. Give this place a try. A great way to have a bit after a movie!

I've eaten here now the 4th time, every time has been great (if you dine in) , but this last time was terrible. I ordered the 8oz smothered burger with chili cheese fries (to go). I could honestly count on less than both hands how many fries I got. Next I ordered my meat medium rare, well it was well done no pink what's so ever. Lastly I called to speak to a manager so I could voice my concern, was told there is no manager they only work Monday-Friday usually 11 or noon-6pm. I paid nearly $16 but I'll never go back.

This was my second visit and I was again disappointed by the food and service. I went back because last time I went it was when they were barely opening so I thought they may have some kinks to work out. I guess not. Best burgers in town..... I think not. My patty melt wasn't even that it was like a ball of meat tossed on a piece of bread. I could if just used 1 bread cut in half for the ball of meat I received . Disappointed .

The service I experienced today was terrible. We waited over 20 minutes for our drinks, over 30 mintues for our chips and salsa, and by the time the food came out, we already waited over an hour and a half. No one checked on us or refilled our drinks while waiting. The staff seemed confused and helpless. Anytime we did ask about our food, the manager or whoever was very rude and stern with us like we were a burden. The food was good don't get me wrong, but not good enough to have to deal with this horrible customer service.

Great food! Best green Chile cheeseburger in town. The Milagro Fries are insane----decadent, rich and better than chocolate. Tortilla Burger with Christmas is heavenly. Great service! Lovely atmosphere! Go out of your way to go here!!!!

One of my favorite spots. I always get the burger, either green chile cheeseburger or the mushroom and Swiss. Always excellent.

I never have managed to make it past the 6 ounce green chile cheeseburger because it's everything I could ask for in a reasonably-priced burger. It's cooked as you wish it and the green chile is perfect. I probably would prefer cheddar to American cheese but, at $6.50 for a good day sized burger and decent fries, I won't complain. The management also is generous with emailed discount offers and service always has been good when we have eaten lunch. The New Mexican specialities look good, but the burgers seem to have a spell on me.

I wanted to take my Grandmother for lunch. We chose this place. It was raining and cold so I dropped her off right in front of the restaurant and parked the car. When I came in. She hadn't been seated. The waitress was frantically cleaning tables in a very disorganized manner. Grabbing a plate and then bussing it and running to refill water and then wiping a table and taking an order to someone. Finally she gives us a table and then she apologizes for it being wet. She had just wiped it down, but it was not the only open table. She returns to order our drinks. My grandmother orders water and then our waitress blurts out "Two waters," and then darts off without getting a confirmation or asking if we needed anything else. She returns with the water. I ask to order a Corona and she informs me that the restaurant has failed to renew their alcohol license and then just bolts off again. I tried to ask if I could order a soda but again. She didn't ask to get us something else she just bolted off and frantically was trying to run the restaurant by herself. Truthfully, I am not to bummed about never going here again. The food is mediocre at best and there are way better hamburgers in town. I'd recommend Five Star, the Black and Blue burger at Blue Corn Brewery is killer, and, well those are the only places I'll get a hamburger in Santa Fe at this point. The atmosphere is better at those places anyways. At El Milagro, you'll find the tackiest of art hanging on the walls and pop country music blasting. It's kind of nerve wracking. SKIP IT. Seriously. Because of the lousy service. The Lousy atmosphere. And the mediocre food. It's just not worth it.

I had blue corn enchiladas that were really good. My family had burgers with homemade fries. Chili was awesome. Three stars because they are short staff I guess because our food took forever to come out and they weren't even busy. I ordered sopaillas that I was hoping to eat with my food but they didn't come until we all were done.

I came in on a quiet Monday evening an just decided to check this place out. I got the most popular thing on the menu (Milagro Burger) 1/2 pound with everything that it comes with. I didn't have any issues with the service but it's probably because it wasn't busy at all. Let's talk about the burger; it was delicious. Every bite was a mouth full of flavor and different textures. The bacon was cooked to perfection, it was very crispy but was not burnt at all. The meat was well seasoned and flavored. Everything else just blended together perfectly. It's a bit pricey for a half pound burger in my opinion, but definitely something worth trying!

I disagree. My husband I just stumbled upon this place yesterday. We're visiting from the Washington DC area and while lookikng for some place to eat, we ended up here. I know bad service and am the first to call it out, but the older Swedish lady who was working the host stand and also waitressing was very nice. Maybe if you come when it's really busy (we were there around 1p) and she's the only one working, it might be bad, but we had quite a total opposite experience. The food was decent, I wouldn't say great. My husband loved the home made taco shells and the sopapilla was pretty tasty.

OK, I'll admit that the first time I came to this restaurant, I wasn't too impressed with the service, but a friend encouraged me to go back and that's when I discovered their amazing hamburgers! I love them, they're made to order with a couple really good ones on their menu that SERIOUSLY put Bobcat Bite on the other side of town in their sights. And the last time I was at El Milagro, I tried their amazing tamales which totally rank in the same level as my three other favorite tamale places in this town. I have to ding them a star for no free WiFi, but that's how I roll... With constant internet access always on my mind.

I was so disappointed today when me and my husband went in. There was a female worker with short hair that was so rude to the other worker with long hair . And the one with long hair was very nice and friendly. I dont know what happen but the short hair lady was being so disrespectedful to her she was on the phone apologizing to a customer and the girl left the restaurant and mother worker came in and the girl with the short hair was tell her what had happened with the one with long hair. You should never talk to your employees like that in front on customer's. And the to the other workers. Do it in the office or wait tell after hours.

I was satisfied with their hamburger , it was a good deal for the price . They give you an opportunity to order your meat by the oz. The service was excellent, the young woman and man were very attentive and respectful.

Hidden gem! The food was very fresh, staff was attentive and kind. We will be back to try the burgers. They claim to be the best in town.

One of the best green chili burgers...even if the green chili was too for hot for me. If you can stand the heat you can't beat this burger. It is so full of flavor! I was told that the pie ala mode is also excellent but I was so full from the Burger. The only reason I rated 4 stars is because we ordered a taco that never came. We did remind the server but also cancelled at the same time. The place was clean, staff personable and even got a 20% veterans discount. The price was reasonable also. I would absolutely come back!

Horrible service from Iris, bad attitude, doesn't take responsibility or cares for her interaction with customers. Food is mediocre at best and with these high prices, your Better of somewhere else

The burgers were so great and tasty!!!! But service was horrible for only us (a party of 3) and another gentlemen really at least come check on your table at least once!!!

A sidewalk restaurant with some tables big enough to seat families. One of our servers smelled like an ashtray, but was nice, and filled our drinks on time. The Salsa was a bit average, which was okay. Our food looked good and was delivered in a timely manner, but also tasted average. I have no complaints, but I'm not impressed either.

I always recommend this restaurant when people ask me where to eat and they always end up loving it as well. The green chile chicken nachos and the burgers are fantastic.
