We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent — just a short walk from both the harbor and the Medina, which made exploring the area very easy. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The pool is large, with plenty of space to relax and enough loungers for everyone. The breakfast was a bit limited in variety, but still okay to start the day. All in all, a solid choice for a comfortable stay in a great location.

We loved our quick stay at this historical hotel. The rooms were decorated in a fantastic Moroccan style. The dinner with entertainment was a great added bonus! Wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the amenities and location.

This is the historical hotel in tangier, located at city centre. Staff is king and professional, rooms are clean and well equipped even though a bit old but it’s normal it’s consistent with the hotel style and history. The hotel has a very nice wellness centre with a big jacuzzi and fitness centre. There is also a nice pool. Our breakfast was correct very rich and diversified, we could just have expected a slightly better breakfast experience. I recommend this hotel

Very good location close to old Medina and seaside. Hotel has history and is in a beautiful Moroccan style. However you can find lots of things are dated. The swimming pool is big and quite nice. We were especially disappointed in the breakfast. You often had to scrape eggs and sausages from the pan as they were almost always empty especially if you take breakfast after 9. Not alot of choice, lacks local options. We still really enjoyed our stay. But 3 stars because there is so much room for improvement. The spa was really good, really thanks to Fatima she went out of her way to make it an unforgettable experience.

Great location, beautiful hotel but definitely outdated. I’m sure back in the day it a 5 star resort but not now. While we didn’t have a bad experience here, this definitely wasn’t on par with the other 5 star resorts we stayed out. Truthfully, our stay at 3 & 4 star accommodations in Morocco were more luxurious than this. Even something as simple as a welcome tea, like other resorts & riads do, would have really elevated the experience. Again, we did not have a bad experience here, the photos just made it seem much more updated than it was.

Hi everyone l have to say when l arrived at Al minzah It was very nice lovely and pleasant the staff at the reception was very nicely spoken English he greeted us very nicely. Overall the hotel was fantastic but the breakfast was not that great because the lady that makes the parata like bread preastry whan you first walk in, she is there on the right as you walk in making pancakes she was not present she told me to wait evey time. l wanted one pancake she had them ready but she didn't give me any and told me to wait. l went after few minutes and she said it's ran out. The jim staff wasn't very polite, every time l went there they told me to put my trainers on.

El Minzah is more than a hotel. The Minzah is a state of soul.|It embodies the entire history of Tangier, nestled in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Sitting in its patio feels like sitting in paradise. Having a drink in its piano bar is like stepping into Casablanca.||Everyone working at the hotel — from the doorman to the manager to the waiters — are some of the kindest, most elegant, and soulful people I have ever met in my life.||As an actor, director, and screenwriter, I’ve traveled the world and lived in many countries. Nothing compares to my experience at El Minzah.|Anyone visiting Tangier should spend at least a night — or two, or even a month — in this magical place, which holds the essence of Morocco and the world, from the 1930s to today.||For me, it’s a second home. Thank you for everything.|Everyone should visit El Minzah. I will return very soon — and I will keep returning for years to come. If I could, I would live at El Minzah forever, surrounded by that wonderful family.||Long live El Minzah.

I spent some time traveling around Tangier & spent my remaining 2 days at El Minzah. It was a splurge for me and well worth it as I was ready to move at a slower pace & just enjoy my time at the pool & exploring locally before heading back home. I particularly enjoyed the historical background of the hotel.
