Just had the most amazing experience El Mistico Ranch! We stayed in the Zia geodome, and it far exceeded our expectations. Comfortable, cozy, quiet, private, and the views were spectacular! We arrived after dark and followed a magical path lit by fairy lights to our dome. Daylight revealed more magic in motivational signs, whimsy in every tree, and enchantment in every nook and cranny. Can't wait to go back to this easily accessible hidden gem!

Outstanding Anniversary Stay – Truly Unforgettable My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Zia Geo Dome for our anniversary, and the experience was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that great care and attention to detail had gone into creating such a unique and peaceful retreat. The dome itself was beautifully designed, comfortable, and perfectly situated to take in the breathtaking views and quiet surroundings. The privacy and serenity made it an ideal setting to relax, reflect, and celebrate such a meaningful occasion together. Every aspect of the stay felt thoughtful and intentional, allowing us to fully disconnect from daily routines and enjoy the moment. The Best Girls’ Trip Ever! We stayed at El Mistico Ranch for a girls’ trip to celebrate one of my best friends’ birthdays (November 8, 2025), and it was honestly the best experience ever! It was just the three of us, and from the very beginning, everything was smooth and well-communicated. We paid for early check-in, which was absolutely worth it, it gave us extra time to settle in and fully enjoy the beautiful space. The team had amazing communication and made everything easy. We received all the check-in details and access codes by text ahead of time, which made arrival super convenient. The property itself is absolutely stunning! You can feel how much attention to detail went into every part of it. We love nature, and being there felt so grounding and peaceful, an incredible space to meditate, reflect, and connect with the earth. At night, we sat outside and were in awe of the stars, truly breathtaking, especially coming from Texas where you don’t often see skies that clear. The owner was on-site during our stay and was so kind, welcoming, and respectful, which made the experience even better. We booked directly through their website, and we’ll definitely be coming back. This place is magical, peaceful, beautiful, and full of good energy. Highly recommend! ✨

What a unique beautiful place. Had a fabulous stay in one of the gorgeous domes. The domes had everything we needed and so spacious either extra comfy beds. Amazing views and neat property,

First timers. Stayed for New Years Eve and New Years Day. Being 30 min from town, and knowing this place had a grill, wife and I planned ahead. We purchased two days worth of food. Our intention was Not to travel into town (Ruidoso) to eat but to cook all our food at our stay. When we got to the Zia Dome. We realized the propane tank was empty and the above cooking light was Not working. It was pitch black outside and cold. We reached out to the emergency number provided and we did not hear anything back for Two Hours. During this time we contemplated driving into Ruidoso to purchase a propane tank or buy ready to eat food for dinner and breakfast, hence waste all the perishable food we bought before we arrived... we walked around in the dark looking for staff, without any luck. Thankfully, my wife brought a Ninja Crispy on the trip and we were able to eat dinner without wasting a possible 2 hour round trip back to Ruidoso. The stress and frustration we felt was Great and completely preventable. The severe lack of attention to this detail and obvious poor work ethic created one of the most difficult situations we have endured on any getaway we have ever been on. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK! By the way, when we arrived, you had two metal chairs outside with no cushions. Have you inconsiderate jerks tried sitting on them when it is 32 degrees outside...

If you’re someone who easily connects with nature, El Místico is the perfect place to disconnect and truly feel. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy a weekend away from routine and the chaos of the city. I loved every phrase placed along the paths leading to the cabin and the thoughtful decorations along the way. Every detail in each room makes you feel at home. It also has the most beautiful mountain views where you can fully enjoy the sunset. Highly recommended!

Coming to El Mistico has become our family's favorite getaway place! We love to walk through the amazing paths and observe all the details along the way. The kids love to go the fairy land/place. We love that is just a few hours from El Paso and a few minutes from Ruidoso. It is a very unique place. We definitely recommend staying at this amazing and magical place.
