We stopped here for a late lunch and loved it so much we got 4 rooms for all the family and stayed the night! We will definitely stay here on our next trip to the area. Our rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable with hot showers. I had a wonderful nights sleep with the soothing sound of the rushing river right next to us. Our meals were tasty with prompt pleasant service and the location was great. We walked into town and went zip-lining over the river with my nephews and did tours of a local Pisco distillery. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

This review is for the restaurant The restaurant has beautiful views and an extensive menu. The server was quick and helpful. However, portions are very, very small. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, and the saltado (noodles). Both plates were priced quite high for the area, and we were amazed at how this town is known for their river shrimps and yet their advertised plates had a small portion of shrimps! In addition we ordered a fried trout, FYI- they only serve the filet trout and the portion was the size of my 8 year old hand ! Needless to say, we will not be coming back. I would recommend you to try other local restaurants, perhaps with no views of the river, but fair in portions/prices and much tastier

A very nice surprise! The hotel setting was wonderful, between tall tall mountains and the roaring river Cañete. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, facing the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The personnel was very friendly and welcoming. We will return!

Great location particularly for breafast. Faultless evening meal and service from Bedirhan but wine by the glass choice very limited . The Argentine Malbec served in lieu of the Australian or Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon requested was undrinkable. No wine by the glass menu was offered by the Sommelier when requested.

We were lucky to Chek in on Monday. So we were the only guests in the whole hotel. Fortunately the restaurant didn't close, as in other hotels on workdays. The criolla soup was very delicious. But we found a piece of soft plastic in the sandwich in the morning)) The mountain river is so close, that this white noise helps to relax and sleep better. There were no music, what we appreciated most What I liked most is a very clean swimming pool. At 3 pm it was rather warm for daughter. And she could also run barefoot on the fresh green lawn. In the evening we could lie down on the round sofa outside and to listen to river. The only minus is the small room for three. But we had the terrace where we spent most of the time. You can see the river from your window and terrace.

This hotel was a great surprise. Everything clean, attractive, located on the Canate River and a staff always ready to please. Picture perfect! This was particularly important as unknown to us, Peru went into lockdown mode for the 4 days we were there and we were not able to do the whitewater rafting, ziplining, quad motor rides and hiking we had planned on.( this is everywhere and what makes this small village thrive) We ate all out meals at their restaurant and they were always delicious. I asked for a special meal to add fish to their tallerina and they happily agreed and it was awesome. We spent lots of time just sitting and meditating by the river which was strong and powerful

Stayed there for two nights with family (two children under 10). Had a great time in the area with lots of activities such as quad biking and white water rafting). The hotel was better than expected. Only about 10 rooms but with all the amenities you would want. Hot water, in room fridge, pool, and the river just a few steps away. The food at the restaurant was delicious; we ate there probably 6 times. During the evening, we played billiards and sapo. Great stay and would be back if we returned to the area.

Family of four (2 adults, 2 children). We were supposed to stay at another hotel but were not impressed with that location. The El Molino was just up the road and as mentioned in other reviews has on site parking, clean rooms, attentive staff. The rooms are clean, the location by the river was perfect for all activities in Lunahuana.
