I highly recommend staying here if you do not mind rustic accommodation. Some key things to set your expectations, room does not have AC (however I found the fan to be quite sufficient given the cool weather at night), and there may be lizards / bugs in the room. However the bed does come with a mosquito net and it does work to keep them out! Not many mosquitos to begin with anyways. You do get a private bathroom that is a separate out building directly next to your cabin. You get a shower, and a composting toilet to yourself. I cannot recommend this place enough. I watched the sun set into the ocean each day with a beer in hand, that I easily procured from the honesty bar! You are surrounded by greenery and you have a stunning view. You are also walking distance from Windwardside. There are not many places in the world where you can watch the sunset into the ocean while on the toilet. Need I say more?

We really enjoyed our stay at El Momo. Andries and Eva are really special hosts who made every effort to make our stay enjoyable -- and they did it generously and always with good humor. We came to El Momo because we the place we'd originally booked was unsatisfactory. Andries went out of his way to piece together a stay for us on short notice -- he even arranged for our transportation to El Momo! He couldn't have been nicer! Our accomodations were simple but comfortable -- clean and cheerful, with fresh flowers and a welcoming message on the chalkboard, all of which transformed a rough start on Saba into a really nice experience.

Andres, Ava and Birgit took wonderful care of us while we stayed there. The cottages are cozy with great views of the ocean and Mt. Scenery. We will return in a couple of years to the beautiful island of Saba.

We loved our time at El Momo!! Andries is an absolute hoot and he and his partner took such good care of us! The views from the cottages (even from our shower!) are absolutely breathtaking. The breakfasts they provide are delicious. We loved hanging by the pool after a day of scuba-diving or hiking. Everyone we met staying there was friendly. Definitely for the bit more adventurous type because of the outdoor feel and the climb to get there, but it's worth it! And they come in and clean your cottages which was such a nice treat! 10/10 recommend staying at El Momo!

The view is magnificent, the staff is friendly, the service is agreeable, but the accomodations are just okay. Climbing so many steps with luggage in hand cannot be safe. At night I did have a little problem with the bugs, but the bed was very comfortable for me. In summary; it's not the most luxurious, but it is affordable and the view alone makes it worth it.

Coolest hotel on the island! Amazing views from our room. Andres was an amazing host and fun to talk and visit with. He gave us good recommendations on hikes in the local area. Breakfast was terrific and included fresh baked bread from the local bakery in Windward. Loved the connection to nature that this property provided. We stayed for 2 days and one night to do some diving with Sea Saba. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

One of the best views I have ever experienced in holiday accommodation . Fantastic panorama , the sea in front of us and the volcano peak to our right . Each evening we watched the sun go down , the moon rise and shine its light on the water and the stars and planets appear . In the morning we saw the clouds push through the gap between the peaks and during brief periods of precipitation rainbows down below . The hosts are really friendly and helpful .The central location makes it a good base for anyone wanting to hike the trails . The swimming pool was a good place to cool off and chat with other guests . Saba has a really relaxed feel to it . The vegetation is amazing and all the locals seem really friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay .

The owner is very friendly and welcoming! The cottages are so cute and it was very peaceful. The pool was great after a morning of hiking. You do have a lot of steps to climb to reach their place so make sure you don’t mind that. I believe it was completely with the climb and the views were amazing!
