I stumbled into the gallery and was impressed with the display and narration of art that has come out of area correctional facilities. They were in the process of putting items up but the combo of photos, drawings/paintings and written word was still worth the time.

Lovely cultural museum in the rail yard. A real gem to have stumbled upon during Day of the Dead festivities. There were multiple beautiful Dead Alters on display when I visited.

Incredibly friendly and helpful vendors in the artisan market. The jewelry, fabrics, and more are all wonderful.

The current Gilberto Guzman exhibit is historic, haunting, and profound.

El Mercado de El Museo is a hidden gem. There are many artists booths in this unassuming building across the railroad tracks from the farmers market. You can find western wear, carpets, jewelry, textiles, and more. There's a lovely booth by the artist Estee that offers a wide selection of metal and beaded necklaces other than the turquoise and coral so prevalent in Santa Fe.

Great place for eclectic stuff from Santa Fe. Super hat vendor and interesting used items including silver. Very nice artisans with beautiful pieces. More established than the artist vendors in the tents outside.

Lost a hard to find caster from my very old chest of drawers during a move. To my surprise, in the $1 box, there it landed. Lucky me. That's why this place is worth some time for puttering. Spacious with a wide assortment worth discovering what you least expect.
