We came for Anniversary dinner, great restaurant. Food was delicious. The Octopus is very tasty. Food portions were also great. Highly recommended

The best meal in Puerto Rico so far. Panchi (see photo) is a real chef with imagination and uses fresh produce. Waiters are kind and guides you aptly through the menu. Good wine cave. Prices are in mid ranges.

Excellent! Great service, GOOD cocktails and food that will make you smile. The place is small and cozy, a cute restaurant. We loved it! Great location.

The food was truly excellent if you’re willing to splurge a little bit on dinner. Good-sized portions. The stuffed mushrooms are OUTSTANDING. And they gladly made a dish for my vegetarian wife despite their not being a veg main course on the menu. It too was exquisite.

Absolutely delicious dining. We had the shrimp crepes, which were very rich, but succulent. We also had the cod with taro, which was flavorful and it’s impressive to find fish that has not been over cooked. Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating to tourists and we were greeted by the chef during the meal. Intimate, and well worth the travel out of San Juan.

We had two dinners at Panchi’s including a small birthday party. We were warmly greeted and impeccably served the first night, and met Panchi who is the executive chef and co-owner. He studied culinary arts in Paris and was chef at the Four Seasons in Palm Beach for ten years before returning to his native Puerto Rico. The food is international with Caribbean accents. Our first night the two couples in our group were gushing with praise for the meals and desserts. Our second visit was even better because we were immediately recognized as returning guests and treated like family. I would wager this is absolutely one of the finest dining establishments in all of Puerto Rico. Highly recommend!

The food was exquisite.The service was excellent and the price was very competitive.

We went to Panchi's for a Wednesday night dinner and were blown away by the food, hospitality, and ambience. We ordered the escargot, stuffed mushrooms, mahi-mahi, and lobster crepe. Everything was delicious and unique - even what seemed like a simple root mash was had a flair and twist to it. Most importantly, it was so very clearly served with love. The place is a bit out of the way if you're a tourist and not driving, but absolutely worth the trip for a unique and wonderful experience of both taste and hospitality.

Nunca me equivoco con este lugar. De mis favoritos, aunque siempre le doy al oportunidad a otros lugares siempre regreso a él. Su comida es espectacular y los postres divinos. Los empleados son muy atentos y preocupados que pases una gran velada. El chef, siempre pasa a saludar. Si quieres pasarla bien y comer rico, ve al Negocio de Panchi.

I died and went to heaven . We tried this place out for dinner with the work crew . The chef - owner was hospitable and a true delight! Best meal of my life , ok I may be exaggerating slightly, but everything was so good . Mushroom - stuffed with cheese and ham was an amazing appetizer, as was the little cheese stuffed empanada looking things . Main meal of steak was also incredible - Cooked perfectly, with a side of truffle Mac and cheese . Libations of choice for the group were the mojitos, if you go , please make certain to get one ! Thanks to the hosts for the hospitality and memorable dishes!

We are part of a group of friends who meet often to share a meal. Since we live in different areas of the island, we decided to meet midway in this restaurant. Ufff! Great, actually excellent choice. What a surprise. Panchi rates among the best 5 in PR. Service is tops. The place is small but not overcrowded. Food is tops. Panchi made sure our cravings were satisfied. Thanks for the Wellington and for the side order of arroz con tocino to go with the garbanzos.

Appetizer - mushrooms with prosciutto and manchego cheese was so good my wife and I seriously considered ordering it for dessert! I love her dearly, but it almost put a strain on our 30 year marriage to have to split that appetizer! Don't split it, get one each. My blackened salmon main course was cooked perfectly. I eat a lot of salmon and it often gets overcooked. This was an A+ both in terms of texture and flavor. The dessert was a slight miss as I tried something a little too fancy for me (basil and white chocolate cheesecake?). I should have order the mushrooms!

The best international cousine in the island. Try corn beef risotto and tail lobster omelette. Excellent personalize attention by the chef (owner) Panchi. The price and travel time worth by every bite and remember reserve your table before your visit.

Amazing! Small place with delicious food. In my opinion the best food in Ponce. They only need to work on the drinks and offer more original cocktails.

Well, It looks nice and quiet from the outside. But it was just a complete loud house. It was crowded and very noisy with no background music. The food was not very good, at least not my salmon. It was not worth the 26 dollars. Customer service was awesome though, except they did not understand English. Overall, it was not worth it at all.

Excellent restaurant just outside Ponce, not far from the freeway. The dishes are eclectic and very well prepared, ranging from fish to fowl to steak, with great emphasis on the local taste and cuisine. One of the best -if not the best- in Ponce. They carry a terrific wine list and offer free parking out front.

This is a must go to place! All the food was amazing, from the appetizers to the main courses. I came with a group from work and we divulged in four different appetizers: the chorizo and risotto, salmon quesadillas, mushrooms, and octopus. When I say I could have made a meal out of the appetizers... I purposefully stopped eating so that I could save room for the main course. Best decision ever!! I got the puissan (spchk) which was essentially a Cornish gen stuffed with yucca and marinated overnight. It. Was. Amazing! Cooked to perfection. Not a dry morsel in the chicken and the bones were literally falling off! I can't describe the magnificence of this meal besides urging you to try it!! Just do it.

If you ever will be close to Ponce, PR - please, please, please - make a reservation and visit El Negocio de Panchi. They usually are open for dinner time (from 4pm) but you might get lucky, as ourselves, and have a lunch there. Service - 5+ (extra effort to explain the exquisite menu to non-Spanish speaking tourists - wow) Food - 5+ (yum, yum, yum!!) - super dooper delicious!! and presentations worth Michelin star restaurants Ambiance - very good Location - I don't know:) I was just a tourist:)) Here is what we were impressed with: Wild mushrooms soup - OMG category (now I am preoccupied to reproduce it) We both had fish (salmon and halibut)- with different sets, but the most surprises were casava and taro root mash as the starch component to the dish - it wasn't just edible, it was soooo yummyyy!! surprise? Surprise:) Fish was cooked perfectly. I think it was the brightest and tastiest culinary experience of our 10 days vacation in Puerto Rico. I wish there would be a shorter rout form CA :)) Thank you, Chef Panchi! I hope, we will be back:)

A wonderful place to end a day in Ponce. Away from the cultural district, the food is marvelous and the chef is fantastic. They made sure I felt safe saying there (gluten and dairy free) and just made us feel very welcome. The duck breast and the pork were truly delicious. The art on the walls (including the bathrooms) was fun and very interesting. It's clear Panchi is an art lover.

Amazing chef driven menu. When you want to taste flavor and food head to this location. Salmon wit lj sweet and sour glaze was off the top.

Is always good to visit Panchi. Great food, excellent service. They change the menu every week and is always good. They do lunch too, and is great. Want something good and different? Go to Panchi

Another favorite restaurant on the island. The menu changes daily with the chef's creations. Always something different and exciting to eat. A few of my favorites are the Salmon with a sweet and spicy sauce and the grilled Octopus. The owner will personally greet you and make sure you have a wonderful experience. The staff and service is great and it like eating in someone 's home who loves food and loves to cook.

The food was bellow for the par. The portions where so small after we all left the restaurant we went to another restaurant to eat because everyone was still hungry even after everyone had there full dish and appetizers. For the amount of food that we where given the price was just ridiculous. Two people in our table had pork and it was salty and tasted like it was reheated and old. Another had the Tuna and it also tasted old. We saw all the reviews of the place and went expecting to be blown away and we where left scratching our heads about all the positives reviews of the place.

What an awesome place! Gourmet and very innovative, The foie gras with mango salsa was exceptional , grilled slightly I believe. My roast duck entrée was also excellent, perfectly cooked and not greasy. The food is divine and the service is extraordinary!!! GPS did not work well getting us there, we called and got directions. It's across the street from the Walmart, directly across from the Pizza Hut to be more exact. Enjoy!

Good food but really hard to find. The address is Carr. 14 #1721, Ponce. It's across the street from Walmart, a Pizza Hut, baskin Robbins, strip area et cetera. Sign is really small. Since it took us forever to find, we want to help out the next customers.

Excellent food and service. Tuna, pork, salmon, mushroom soup and risotto were all great. Pork was melt in your mouth

The service is impeccable. They mixed the perfect cocktail and it was exactly what I wanted. The Camrese salad was fabulous. The escargot even better. I had the Salmon and it was perfectly moist and flavor was spot on. Robert's filet mignon was perfection!! Best meal ever!!!

Wow, super amazing food worth going to Ponce for. Everything was exquisite and highly creative: escargot on pesto with puff pastry, mushroom risotto with pork loin, chorizo crusted sea bass, super tender octopus, crab cake, gee, EVERYTHING.
