coffee was so good. it smelled and tasted delicious. waitress was nice and service was fast. food was good but nothing special. but if you are hungry and waiting for a ferry I would recommend to visit. they are nice and you will be fed fast and it is not expensive.

We had a good dinner at this place. We ordered stuffed squid with smashed potatoes & Fish fillet with Mango sauce. Mango float for dessert. Everything was good cooked and tasty, the mango float is huge as well ! A local choral group came in to sing Christmas songs.

I came with luggage bag, the waiter helped me carry it upstairs. I am very hungry from the trip so I ordered seafood paella, it is freshly cooked and delicious. I quite like spicy food so I asked if they have, the waiter gave me chili paste made with baby dried shrimp which tastes perfectly matched with paella. The place played Taylor Swift songs which I literally love. Also a beachfront cafe. Love love love ALSO THEY LET ME STAY WAITING FOR MY RIDE ❣️❣️❣️❣️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

There’s a wide variety of food (from Indian to Italian) — given that, we thought the food won’t be that special due to the range of cuisine. Surprisingly, the servings were good for 2 people. And the food were very exquisitely palatable. El Nido Artcafe left a good taste in our mouths.

Google
We came based on reviews as the best cafe, in fact, disappointment, the portions are small, the price at first glance seems normal, after the size of the portions you understand that the price is too high. The service is from the series quickly finish eating and leave. We will definitely not come back here and do not recommend this place.

We were given recommendations to eat here from the locals. Nice place, cozy environment and very friendly, kind and helpful people working here. The food was fine. We ate a stuffed squid - it was really good, and Penne pesto chicken pasta - it was really oilly, the taste was fine but for me too much fat. Also we had bruchettas with tomato and basil - simple, nothing special, and craft beer - it was good! Servings were more than enough, staff was very kind. They have a really wide menu, lots of diferent food.

The El Nido Boutique Artcafe is a haven for the tourists visiting El Nido. They created an ambience of art. Nicely behaved staff members, live singers, and indigenous artefacts increased its appeal. Symphony of sea waves will give you immense pleasure combining with the soothing songs 🎵 Their foods were original in taste. They also served local craft beer 🍺 with amazing taste. Peace loving tourists find this place as their oasis.

Google
A wonderful culinary experience tonight. The vegetable spring rolls (dipping sauce was amazing), the Pancit Canton with pork & El Nido Salad was authentic and delicious. Our hostess Jessica was most polite and friendly. Definitely returning to this restaurant.

Yelp
We had an enjoyable lunch at this cool spot that had a fantastic family size pizza, the cheese was nice and it was cooked very well. The vegetable lumpia delicious, complimented by an ice cold San Miquel lemon. Good vibes, friendly staff and good service.

Yelp
It's upstairs and a nice breeze. The view is marred by an ugly building but it had open windows and we could see the mountains. Ordered the Boodmo beer on draft, wine, sparkling water Tomato, salad Ceviche Prosciutto pizza Everyhting was good. It's a lot of tomatoes. We took half home. The balsamic vinaigrette was delicious The ceviche was very good. It's made with chopped ginger, which was different for me. I loved it The pizza was good We enjoyed the restuarant and service and food

Yelp
Legit restaurant for drinks and Filipino / Western fusion cuisine . They have drinks available for a reasonable price. The pina colada is solid. Long Island ice tea is super strong. You can ask them to refill the tea. Food is excellent. Go for the seafood pizza, seafood spaghetti, mango salad, and fried chicken. The latter are in wing and drumstick shapes but are actually mixed pieces with quite a bit of bone. Service is good. Great vibes with a bar and live music!

Yelp
A highly rated and talked about restaurant in the heart of El Nido. The space was open, airy and nice (not as artsy as one one think). The menu was large. However, the only decent think we enjoyed was the tuna sashimi. Everything else was just average. Service was average.... Nothing special.

Yelp
I was a bit skeptical at first but as soon as the appetizers came out I knew this place is the real deal. Everything we had was incredibly delicious. Definitely coming back before the vacation ends.

Yelp
We wandered into Artcafe in El Nido on a very rainy day and had all of our luggage with us. We essentially needed some shelter and a quick meal before our ferry. The waitress was friendly, and the food was prepared relatively quickly. We ordered a seafood salad, veggie pizza, bruschetta, coffee and a Red Horse. The bruschetta was very simple but tasty! The veggie pizza was great! My husband liked the seafood salad. Overall 4/5 for quality of food. The establishment is colorfully decorated and spacious. We had a nice meal here, and I would recommend checking it out.

Yelp
We stumbled on this place. We were told they had live music so we figured why not. We ordered two pizzas. Not I am an American and know pizza. Sorry Filipinos, your pizza usually sucks. That sad excuse for cheese ruins most pizza and Mexican food you serve. But this place had the best pizza I have had In the Philippines! Real cheese as it tasted great!

Yelp
I had high hopes for a fantastic breakfast since we couldn't get in the night before. We heard the food was great. The Good - Fantastic Banana Splits and the servers were attentive. The Bad-Old coconuts, Dry Banana Pancakes., Also had seafood salad that was so so, it had good flavors but lack luster (pieces of greens laid as a base with shrimp and squid sprinkled on top). Avocado toast and topsilog (?) breakfast was nothing to write home about. I think they cook the sunny side eggs early and set them under a heat lamp. The topsilog was too fatty and sweet They charge a 10$USD service fee. It's not stated anywhere. I'm guessing it's to save the planet. A couple Irish Coffees brings this meal to $100USD.

Yelp
After spending a week in the Philippines I was so happy to find a salad and fresh veggies on a menu! I had the fresh lumpia to start and the El Nido salad. Both were exactly what I was craving - fresh and delicious! I also had the mango and regular mojitos. I enjoyed both but likely the regular slightly more because the mango was a little too sweet. Overall everything was refreshing and reasonably priced! If you need anything during your stay from souvenirs to toiletries, the centrally located El Nido boutique has it for you. Be sure to sign up for a boat tour, which takes off right from the art cafe outdoor seating area!

Yelp
We chanced upon this resto coming from Tour C (we were going to the BPI ATM nearby). The place has a resto on the second floor and souvenir shop at the ground. We were warmly greeted by staff. My husband was craving for mango shake but they were out of yellow mango and he was offered green mango instead. My husband ended up getting buko juice which was ok as he also loves fresh buko. Was pleased as the resto doesnt use plastic straws (a big plus for me). I got the mango float dessert which was so yummy I finished it quickly.

Yelp
The Art Cafe was a nice break for my boyfriend and I when we wanted to eat something other than Filipino food. They had tasty options for our palette and our pocket wifi also worked well here. It allowed us to surf the web comfortably and eat amongst other foreigners. The service was definitely on point and excellent. There was always someone checking to see if we had everything we needed, someone on hand to clear our dish right after we were done, and the supervisor on duty made sure we were comfortable the entire time. She was friendly and helped us learn more about the surrounding area, as well. We wish we had met her sooner so that we would have been able to explore more of the area through her helpful knowledge. I liked the signs that were also posted in the restaurant and bathroom that provides helpful tips and knowledge about El Nido from the drinking water to conserving water, and much more. It looked like their service desk was also helpful for foreigners, although we had our plans already arranged beforehand. P.S. For Italian food, try eating at Mezzanine across the street. I couldn't find their site on Yelp, but they served the most amazing gnocchi and pasta carbonara that my boyfriend and I could not stop talking about! They also have an amazing view and lovely wine.

Yelp
The art cafe certainly has a popular following with tourists. It offers a western friendly menu, board games, cocktails and a travel agent to organise island tours. We went there for dinner on our first night and ordered the lasagne and a vegetarian pizza. Both items were pretty ordinary, the pizza base was a bit over cooked and the lasagne had no structure to it. The total came to ₱715, which was our most expensive meal in El Nido. We booked tour A and C with them and throughly enjoyed it. The tour guides were laid back and friendly, offering insights into the islands. Make sure you hire reef booties/slippers as I forgot and would have had cut up feet if it wasn't for one of the tour guides who let me borrow his flip flops. The bbq lunch on the beach is fresh and local and satisfying after a morning of snorkelling or kayaking. You can buy beer and soft drinks on the boat for around ₱70. Despite its a-ok food at the restaurant, the lure of the art cafe is definitely the atmosphere and its connivence. It's a great place to meet tourists and exchange island stories over a few drinks.

Yelp
Ideally, I start every day with a good cup of coffee or espresso -- usually drinking 3-4 by the end of the day. This was the challenge in El Nido, with most restaurants serving instant coffee (gross) despite claiming it to be brewed. ArtCafe is one of the only places I found during my short stay on the island to have actual drip coffee -- after being deprived for several days it was a godsend. Food was good. Bread baked daily in house and pancakes were fluffy and light. Breakfast was legit, but the view and the coffee is what you'll come for.

Yelp
Always great food, never disappointed! We ate here on 3 different occasions and always happy with the variety and quality of food!

Yelp
Most foods we ordered were salty from Pancit, Sauted Vegetables, Squid & Pasta! Pizza was alright but then how bad could you mess up pizza? The music was all in Spanish! Service was good though. No air-conditioning like all others! . Prices were $$$. Restrooms in El Nido aren't pleasant if you're a foreigner!

Yelp
We went here looking for wifi and had trouble capturing it, like everywhere else in El Nido (though perhaps this was because everyone else was tying up the network with their attempts to connect). The restaurant is spacious and open-air, allowing the sea breeze to drift in on the upstairs balcony (by far the best place to sit, if you can manage to snag a table). The staff is attentive, and the clientele is all tourist. Surprisingly, I found that the Filipino food here wasn't fantastic (the pancit was 90% okra and watery), but the pizza was great--the Hawaiian pizza in particular. Same for the fresh coconut: I've had more flavorful ones in other parts of the Philippines. The mango shake was good but heavy; by far the most refreshing beverage was the beer (San Miguel Light, brewed in the archipelago). Stick with the western basics and take a deep breath when the wifi cuts out. You may be able to connect again when your neighbor shuts down his laptop to tackle his own pizza!

Yelp
Attention all American and Tourist with high standards. This is the best restaurant on the Island, hands down... Here are the reasons why: 1. Customer service is excellent. Specially when they know you're from another country. They will accommodate you as much as possible. Our server Raymond was super friendly, helpful and on top of things. he deserves all the recognition this guy can get. He even took the extra mile to help us with other thing. 2. Clean, clean, clean! Food is clean, safe and delicious! 3. Food is freaking amazing. Their pasta is real al dente, like no joke! al-freaking-dente! Pizza has good quality ingredients. 4. most important. they are environmentally friendly. visit and support this business. because they do great for the community and the food is EXCELENT!

Yelp
First Night in El Nido and I have to say that this place did not disappoint. It was very busy around 730, but they did an exceptional job in providing waiting times and getting people in as soon as possible. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had the Tiki Marsala and it was great. A nice spot for wonderful food and place to meet people.

Yelp
We had breakfast here and it was pretty good! The banana pancake is very big! If you're taking a tour with the Art Cafe this is a good spot to stop and try. The only negative is that the service is a bit slow on the food. But if you give yourself plenty of time that shouldn't be an issue. Definitely worth a try for a good breakfast!

Yelp
Hi! For me and my husband Art cafe the best food in all Palawan! We were live there for two months and tried almost everything from menu. Everything was delicious and fresh. You need to try all) Favorite dessert crepe with chocolate and banana. Staff beautiful and friendly. Wish to back))

Yelp
We came here for dinner a couple of times. There is a lot to choose from in their high-variety menu, which is great to please many tastes. Service was a bit slow both times, but our food was hot and delicious both times. We also enjoyed the watermelon daiquiris quite a bit.

Jim C.

Yelp
Great ambiance. Great food. Ok service. The young lady forgot lots of our orders and we had to remind her. We all loved what we ordered. I had the fresh fish in mango sauce!
google avatar

Shawn B.

Yelp
Way over priced for what you get. I paid Los Angeles prices for food that didn't live up to the hype. If you want great food at lower prices eat at Altrove - higher standard of food and more for your money.
google avatar

Yelp
Mediocre service, server seemed to no care at all; inattentive. Bring your business somewhere else.

Yelp
My favorite spot to eat and hang out in El Nido. My boyfriend and I got very sick after dining elsewhere so we came here often since the food was food and seemed clean. I recommend the French toast for breakfast and margarita pizzas for other times of day. The internet is hit or miss, but we found it was best at 7 AM.

Yelp
This is the best cafe in El Nido and Palawan!))) Super friendly, great food and you just feeling good!!!)))

Yelp
Great menu, great view, great service. We enjoyed 2 dinners and a breakfast at Art Cafe. I highly recommend it to anyone. My friends had some shakes/smoothy that they enjoyed, but I can only comment of the food and cocktails :) I think 5 of us had breakfast and drinks for less than $50 US... pretty great place.

Yelp
Loved coming to Artcafe with my boyfriend for breakfast. Fantastic view of the beach, in El Nido town center. We also had dinner and the coconut curry was delicious.

Yelp
The food and service was really good. The waitstaff was quite attentive, which is very rare in the Philippines, especially in Manila. Perhaps the situation is a bit different in Palawan. The Greek salad was fresh and the greens very vibrant; I'm told they have a garden out back, and it sure looked as if they did. The kinilaw was awesome too. The pesto penne pasta with chicken was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Elizabeth N.

Yelp
Probably the most popular business in town. They have a gift shop and restaurant with seating inside upstairs or outside on the balcony or near the beach. There's a variety of quality food choices with reasonable prices compared to other restaurants for tourists. Western food costs more than Filipino food here (excluding seafood), that's just the name of the game. Some nights there is live music. You can ask the waitress for the wifi password, which they change every couple days, but it never works. They offer tour booking in the gift shop. There's a tourism desk upstairs where you can book a flight back from El Nido to Manilla or rides to Puerto Princessa. They accept credit cards here which is sweeeet!

Matt G.

Yelp
Decent pizza and pasta. Margherita, arugula and salami pizzas were all good. Try the Tanduay rum for 100p.

Yelp
Food is delicious, however a bit pricey. But then again El Nido is a tourist destination so pricey food is a given. I enjoyed their fish and chips and Art Cafe personal sized pizza (could feed 2 people depending on how hungry you are). Their pasta with pesto and marinara with cheese which was supposed to be a "favorite" was just OK for me. Not really something I would order again. The place was crowded when we got there and it took a while for our food to arrive (about 40 minutes) but the staff was courteous and was quick to provide drinks and utensils / plates (believe me in other El Nido restaurants I've been to you need to ask for utensils / plates so you can start eating). I would highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Yelp
Tasty food and large portions. We especially enjoyed the kinilaw(ceviche). The staff understands English and are very attentive. We ate by the water and moved inside for dessert and the live music at 8pm. Really great. Would totally come back next time I'm in El Nido. Plus, the bathroom is clean.

Alexis R.

Yelp
This was a staple for us during our 8 days in El Nido. The service was great, with good food and good coffee. Its right in town and one of the few places you can hope to get even a sliver of wifi.

Aline N.

Yelp
My experience here was absolutely delightful. It's a cool spot upstairs. The vibe is very chill and homey. The staff is very friendly and checked up on our table multiple times during our visit. We got the seafood paella and for dessert we got the mango float, which they recommended as their most popular dessert. I could totally see why it is. It's made with fresh mangos and it was delicious. Cool spot to stop by to grab dinner. There's also a bar inside. It's a must-try in El Nido!

Kai Z.

Yelp
Really good restaurant & bar. The service is good and there is even a band playing music in the evening.

Michael F.

Yelp
Enjoyed the fish and chips and fresh lumpia. The kids ordered pizzas that looked and tasted like real pizzas as opposed to the cardboard and ketchup stuff we have found elsewhere in the Philippines.
