Incredible service. They made you feel very welcome from the first moment you walk into the restaurant. We sat Outside with a beautiful view. The owner is the Italian sommelier champ of 2017 and needless to say, extremely knowledgeable. He even showed us his impressive wine cellar. Our food was delicious and we have since then recommended this restaurant to everyone else for dinner. Highly recommended

Good restaurant but unfortunately the steak didn’t live up to our standards. However the service was Excellent and the waiter was kind and extremely knowledgeable so this made our experience much better.

A true culinary discovery in Canazei! We ordered the tasting menu, starting with smoked trout with apricot and basil mayo — delicate and beautifully balanced. The ravioli with speck and smoked ricotta was rich yet refined. We also had the local cheese tasting plate — six types of cheeses paired with honey, jams, dark chocolate, crumble, and artisanal bread. An amazing composition of flavors! The platter of local cold cuts was equally excellent: thinly sliced, high-quality meats served with pickled vegetables. The bottle of Riesling matched everything perfectly. Service was friendly and professional, with a cozy Alpine ambiance. El Pael is a place worth returning to.

A fabulous wine and food experience tucked a bit away from the main hustle of town. Located across from a public parking, the atmosphere is upscale and modern yet relaxed. The staff was very friendly and the food impressive. Find time to stop by!

The restaurant looks nice at first, but the experience was very disappointing. The menus are overly “fancy” and difficult to understand – not at all straightforward, especially if you’re a tourist. It takes way too long just to figure out what you’re actually ordering. There are barely any options for kids, which makes it a poor choice for families. The prices are very high while the portions are small, leaving you feeling like you paid a lot but still left hungry. To make things worse, what seemed like complimentary water turned out to be charged on the bill. Overall, it feels more like a fancy tourist trap than a genuine, welcoming restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for good value or an authentic experience.

A fantastic meal with fantastic ambience & excellent service. The food was something like we have never had, very unique thought-out dishes with a great depth of flavour. We enjoyed the carpaccio & anchovies as starters. The trout tartar pasta and tomato guanciale pasta were also outstanding. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. Our waiter Boris was such a delight and made some excellent recommendations. Would definitely dine here again. The wine was phenomenal with Roberto’s expertise. All I can say is if you are thinking about dinning here, I would very much recommend it!

A very pleasant restaurant. Simple in appearance, but the food is delicious. I was especially impressed by the presentation of the cheese platter and the fascinating story about the cheese collection.

‏I didn't enjoy it at all. I paid much more than I ate. Small portions with a very high price that is not worth it at all. We came not hungry and we left not full. I am very sorry I came there, I paid so much money for the simplest dishes there are. We ordered an alcoholic drink that was simply not tasty. I do not recommend the restaurant at all.

Waited forever for service of any kind. Drinks food!! When I complained they got upset with me!! Embarrassed that I took my son there

Perfect place for pizza break! Really nice and decent personal! The Toilets are fancy :-)

We had a Lovely lunch. Great for kids! Very yummy salad, steak and pasta! Very recommend.
