El Paraiso Mexican Cuisine

10/10 all around - the restaurant is clean, every dish was finished, and the service was excellent. Our daughter was thrilled when she was handed crayons and a coloring sheet as soon as we sat down. There were plenty of child friendly options on that menu - ours had the cheese enchilada. The complimentary chips and salsa were welcoming and addicting. The chips were crispy and fresh. They also had horchata (my fav) which ended up being shared because it was so flavorful. The menu was extensive and we were all happy with our orders; Shrimp Cremosa, a Carne Asada Plate and Quesabirria tacos. We could argue which was best, but let’s just agree to agree they were all the best.

The food was not good at all. Came in at 8:45 and took a take out, got 2 fish tacos and 3 shrimp tacos plate($35 total). Idk if it was end of the night or what. But the shrimp tacos (paid $19.00) were sooo soo bad. Couldn’t even eat one. The entire thing has to go in garbage sadly even tho we were starving after a long drive. It tasted raw inside, like crunchy texture and still had a smell that u really can’t bring yourself to eat it. Idk why they didn’t grill it longer it feels like it’s still alive. Fish tacos were ok but not great either. Tortillas were sooo cold like not warmed at all. Overall really bad food experience. I don’t usually give bad reviews but I was starving and not satisfied one bit. Didn’t expect it since it had good ratings.

The service was impeccable. I have to say the food was the absolute best Mexican food I have ever had. Our party of dietary restrictions, and picky eaters was not a problem whatsoever. I loved the decor. My party left full, and happy with our choice to eat here. Great food, atmosphere and service.

El Paraiso was a busy place for s snowy Wednesday night. The restaurant was full capacity, and reason was simply; great food and excellent service. The food was traditional, authentic, & flavorful. The service was welcoming, friendly, and quick. Impressive drink menu and good selection of desserts. Easy on/off from I-5. Must try Mexican restaurant.

I've had larger portions of food, however everything else made up for it. Went a second time a month later I believe.,.and much better portions. Everything else was great too.

El Paraiso was conveniently located right next to our hotel and therefore an easy choice for dinner. We were seated immediately in a booth that provides very little legroom with an affixed narrow table. Chips come to table with some water and ketchup that resembles salsa. May I have a spicy salsa please? Sure, answers the server. Months, perhaps years later the spicy salsa arrives. For dinner I order the El Paraiso special which has grilled chicken, grilled steak and carnitas. It comes with grilled vegetables and a fried jalapeño, rice and beans. It was actually pretty good. My wife ordered the Chili Verde and had zero complaints. Service was slow and salsa was weak which led to only a 3 star review. Food was good enough to return but service lacked which makes us think about it first. Stay tuned, there could be another visit.

Amazing restaurant, food, and service! Absolutely loved my food, my family did as well. I got the enchiladas with chicken, red sauce, and refried beans - seriously am debating this being my favorite Mexican restaurant now. Thank you to the people who have made this place into such a beautiful and delicious place to eat at! Muchos gracias!

Ordered takeout; fresh, quality ingredients; generous portions; well prepared; friendly & quick service; clean tasting, not greasy but flavor lacked character; good value; reasonable; recommended.
