El Pati de la Pepa

We walked in by chance to celebrate my birthday, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. From the very first moment, the staff welcomed us with a smile and outstanding hospitality. They even played songs I requested, offered us a shot, and made the whole evening feel warm and joyful. The food was excellent —authentic flavors, delicious tapas, and beautifully presented dishes. The place has a special charm, perfect for a fun night out with great food, and wonderful people. It was my first visit, but definitely not the last. Highly recommended!

Every time we’ve visited we have always had a good time. The food is delicious and the staff are all lovely. It’s a great little local spot! (It also wins my favorite Bravas in Valencia)

We visit El Patio de Pepa every time we visit Valencia! The owner and staff are top-notch! Each dish is a hand-crafted burst of happiness - especially the artichokes, shrimp enchilada, and tres leche cake!! Crafty cocktails and festive vibes round-out this MUST EXPERIENCE restaurant! Looking forward to my next visit! No waiting with a reservation!

We had the pleasure of relaxing here for a cold drink and a bite earlier today and let me tell you, JusBel and his lovely team more than lived up to their reviews! The place is in the heart of all the action in El Carmen quite close to the Mercat and Lonja and yet they have created a breezy oasis with seating inside and out where you feel like you could be in Havana. Beer was cold, my tinto verano refreshing and perfect for a warm September day. The gambas were by far THE BEST we’ve had since moving to Spain - marinated in garlic, spices and oil, perfectly cooked (thank you Carolina!) and arrived with bread for sopping up the delicious garlic oil! In addition we shared carnitas tacos which were scrumptious, slow cooked citrus infused pork with enough delightfully piggy bacon fat, red onion and cilantro to leave you wishing you’d not shared! We really enjoyed our time here and as we were preparing to go, postres were mentioned and in particular, legendarily good Quatro Leches (we lived in SoFl for many years so feel like we’re in a strong position to judge Cuban cuisine). Fortunately we ordered just ONE with two spoons - good thing too as JusBel served it with a splash of Amaretto which made it even more ridiculous, please do NOT miss this option when you come! All in all, fantastic place with wonderful friendly service and delicious food. We will come back!

This was a lovely place to get a drink and snack half way through our day in Valencia old town. The service was fantastic. We got to sit on their patio which was great . Loved that they had a great tapas menu and drink menu. We went with the cava which was served in these fantastic glasses with flowers . Such a pretty picture! Great cava too! We also got the Jamon sampler platter. With bread and crackers and crushed tomatoes. This was so good and fresh and that Iberian ham is my favorite thing I've eaten in Spain for sure. When you layer the ham, tomatoes and bread honestly there is nothing better . I can make meals out of this. Delicious! We also had to get the Dulce quatrro leche cake... I suggest you do too. Amazing moist and definitely milky. Not your average tres leche ! This 4 milk cake was outstanding. . Full of rich milk and the cake literally crumbled and a light caramel flavor . Loved that. You typically don't tip in Spain but we did here as the service was so good. So happy we found this in Valencia! Such a great little cafe.
