Wow, what a lucky find! We don’t do much advance planning for meals, and things can be hit or miss. This one caught our eye walking by, we saw the pollo cubano that someone ordered, and stayed for more than the outstanding Agua de Valencia. The pollo cubano is wings falling off the bone in a kind of almost-jerk-but-not-quite broth, elements of chocolate and hard to say … rich like French onion soup, impossibly great. The Aguas de Valencia are refreshing and tasty. The. The oven ribs with a delicate little puree … whoa, next level. Everything you want in baked ribs and then some. Rich, savory, a touch of fruit, meat melts in your mouth. Yeah. The Russian salad, usually no comment, but this is fluffy and light and rad.
Mojitos are lovely, the “4 leches” cake to die for. Great prices great vibe great food! Great staff. Come check it out!
