El Patio Grill

The first time we arrived in San Pedro we got in rather late. After we got settled in, we went to the El Patio restaurant for dinner as it was about the only place open on a Sunday night during Covid. We found that many food service and bars all had sand floors. I ordered the shrimp sautéed in a bourbon cream sauce that was killer! The food is good and they have a full service bar with liquor, wine and beer. The servers I’ve had were all very nice and attentive. I think it had a nice vibe. I’ll be going back again.

AMAZING frozen key lime pie!!! Did not dine for dinner but all the dishes looked good. Super friendly staff who were able to give us the scoop on some local places and activities. Poncho gave us some tips about local fishing and snorkeling trips.

If you are looking for a restaurant with way more vegetarien options like sides or salad, you should consider to go in. But also their fish is perfectly prepaired in a wonderful caribbean sauce.

The restaurant is beautiful! They have murals covering the entire wall, evening lights to set a vibe and a patio under the night sky. Definitely a fun casual place to have a drink or a meal down town

Exceptional ceviche here, and large portions. Their house Italian dressing is superb. Try the frozen key lime pie for dessert it's a winner. Friendly service from Pancho at the bar. Thank you!

This is our second time to El Patio and it was our first stop when going into San Pedro. I love the chicken lime soup it was a must stop. The rest of our food was also very good, nice area to sit in the shade with fans, would highly recommend a second time.

I specifically choose to come in Sunday night because a musician was playing. The decor is lit with cool lights under a thatched roof and a sandy floor. I was floored by the amount of pork chops that came with my curry. Our waiter was impeccable. Came with 2 sides (sorry the photo shows only sauteed veg because I ate the salad )

Place looks great, but the food was definitely not a success for us. We had the veggie kebob and coconut curry, but I did not finish my meal and ended up going to the fast food near the docks to get my fill (same for my wife who even ate part of my portion). Conclusion: had far better (and more) food for less on the island
