El Pescadito Roma

We ordered the fish and shrimp tacos. Internet said life changing. Reality said, “Pretty good, maybe having an off day, calm down.” The batter wasn’t crispy poetry, it was more soft spoken novella. Still tasty, just not the viral, algorithm-approved crunch I was promised. That said, the staff? Absolute angels. Smiling, fast, welcoming, like they knew the tacos were mid and decided to overdeliver on vibes. Would I wait in a long hype line again? Probably not. Would I be mad if I ended up here hungry and nearby? Also no. Solid tacos. Great people. Sometimes the internet lies. 7.8/10, vibes doing heavy lifting.

Loved El Pescadito! 3 shrimp tacos had me stuffed, and I caught a batch fresh out of the fryer. This place stays busy, so they are constantly frying fresh fish, shrimp and rellenos. the salsa bar was stocked with super fresh garnishes and had every hot sauce you could want for fish (including mustard!). The staff were super friendly and I will absolutely return

Pretty good fish and shrimp tacos but this place is not El Pescadito anymore. The place changed owners and was renamed. There is no longer a sign “El Pescadito” on the facade of the yellow building.

Came here on a taco tour. Got the smoked tuna and the fried shrimp tacos. Loved the fried shrimp tacos, found the tuna to be a bit heavy for my liking, but makes for a great homey meal. It is an easy casual place, without much pretence. The food is affordable, and service is quick.

Absolutely loved the shrimp tacos! Great choice of options and loved the ease of choosing different sauces, condiments and salads to go with the tacos.

Best place for seafood tacos!!! The deep fried fish and shrimp are packed with flavour and with the right amount of crispiness and crunch. The tortillas have enough corn flavour that it doesn't overpower the rest of the ingredients. The toppings section was a pleasant surprise especially if you're looking to add a bit more on the tacos. It's a tad bit off the traditional tacos but still a must nevertheless!!!

The staff were excellent and very accommodating. Unfortunately, the fish, shrimp and combination tacos were not tasty. My partner became sick from the food and was vomiting within 5 hours of eating dinner here.

Fantastic fish and shrimp tacos, made while you wait in about 2 minutes. Lots of add ons available at a salad bar style side table.
