El Pescador

The first thing attached me is that in a minute we arrived we got a warm greetings from all the staff and big welcoming smiles! The place has a great atmosphere and lovely seafood.. oysters from Ireland was a great surprise.. loved it overall! Highly recommend ☺️❤️

It was a fabulous dinner! We had: sea robin with mussels, fritto misto with branzino & calamari, gnocchi with truffles, tahitian vanilla ice cream with caramelized pumpkin seeds & eggnog, tiramisu and of course some drinks. The food was delicious, only the tiramisu was "fair enough". The service was very attentive and kind. They took a lot of time to explain the different options of grilled fish for us. They tried very hard to find a lactose free alternative for dessert for me (besides sorbet), even asked in their other restaurant (El Gaucho) what they have on the menu. The only little minus: we would have drunk more, if the service would have let us / would have been a little bit quicker with the drinks. If you are into fish, if you don't mind spending money, if you like that little "extra" service and enjoy a really nice atmosphere in the old town of Graz: El Pescador is definitely the right place for you to go!

A late review. It’s a very nice place and good service. Would definitely recommend their truffle pasta. Their fresh-catch-of-the-day fish was good too.

The food was really this good! Fish is perfect grilled, the vegetables were so melting with such a good taste and sauce! The appertizer was amazing and the bread is very fresh made! I highly recommend! We tried it for the first time and was our wedding anniversary, because we always wanted to try it but in a special occasion, after this we just said: well for such a good food we should come often! ❤️

Good vibes. Fresh and deliciously cooked fish. Friendly staff. Exceeded expectation fish soup starter and fish cappacio starter. We walked in without reservation on a Sat night in Nov, and just got really lucky that the last table was available to us - so remember tomake reservations!! Got seated very close to the pantry and saw how oysters were prepared 😄... nice!

Very nice choice of fish. The menu is small but compleet. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service very pleasant. Really recommended if you don't want to have meat.

It's a very nice fish restaurant city center. It has different menu for lunch and dinner. In the evening menu is bigger. For lunch is mostly dish of the day. Fish is fresh.Tune fish tartare is very tasty. Fish soup is huge and full of seafood and fish. It's a must try here. I would recommend this place for romantic dinner. Service is friendly. It's better to make a reservation in advance.

Not fantastic. Severely overpriced. Why overpriced? €24 for a tuna steak. Nothing huge and not prepared in a unique manner. Tasteless tuna which cane with nothing else. Side salad if €6 which was arugula, vinaigrette and too much salty parmigiana. Soup tasted like the seafood spaghetti with rubbery and tasteless prawns and squid and mussels. Good bread - however the seafood spread that accompanied the bread was, for all intents and purposes, tuna salad. The special butter was just salted butter. So all in all not so innovative or extraordinarily delicious food. And wow was it expensive! Find the little Spanish hole-in-the-wall closer to Schloßberg and feel more at home and less stuffy. Word of warning: the bathroom is outside and around the corner. Fine in good weather. But a bit "rustic" when inclement weather. (Black permanent texter/marker/Sharpie denotes male/female. Know your symbols!)

Guys and girls! It's a disgusting place! Middling food and horrible service. Please find something else. Just pass by!!! Save your evening.
