The hotel and staff are amazing. From the minute we walked into the hotel it was serene and calm. It is beautifully kept, we were in room 7 on the second floor, which was large with a very good bathroom with large walk in rainfall shower and separate shower head, sink and toilet. The towels were very luxurious.|Special thanks to Simone and Helen who went over and above, helping us with restaurant suggestions and beaches to go to. They were absolutely amazing and certainly enhanced our holiday.|Begur is a very pretty medieval town which is absolutely spotlessly clean. The ambience of the area, the restaurants and the boutique shops are lovely as are the beaches and coves in the local area. |Parking was easy in the public car park at the bottom of the hill, 5 minutes walk away and at the time we visited was free.|I would highly recommend visiting Begur and would certainly stay again at El Petit Convent.|Many thanks from Rachel and Nick.

Very relaxing little hotel. Really friendly and helpful staff, only 3 mins from the town centre. Modern comfortable rooms, beds very comfortable, nice bedding. A couple of sitting area’s, nice if hanging around. Begur is quite small, plenty of restaurants and bars for what is a small town. Great base (free car park 200-300 Mtrs away) to explore local area. If coming back would happily stay again or recommend.

Lovely little hotel with the perfect location for a great vacation in the Costa Brava. Right in the old part of Begur, with great rooms that are super comfortable (especially the beds), modern bathrooms and a great breakfast (especially for the low price!). Attentive service, good internet and quite surroundings make this a great place to stay.

This charming boutique hotel in Begur is the perfect spot for a cozy getaway. The rooms are warm and inviting, creating an atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The staff is exceptionally kind and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. Their genuine hospitality truly stands out and adds a personal touch to the experience. Without a doubt, I would stay here again when I return to Begur.

Had a great stay at El Petit Convent. Hotel is very well situated and just a short walk to the center of Begur. We stayed for a week and used the hotel as a base to explore throughout the Costa Brava.||Rooms are very comfortable, clean, modern and, while a bit small, very functional and manageable (and the intent of the stay was not to stay in the hotel room but to be out and about). Breakfast was good with a nice selection of choices and all quite fresh. As we visited in March, it is off season and there were a few other guests but overall quiet.||We have to commend, with our many thanks, the assistance we received from Simone, one of the desk staff. She was kind enough to take the time to suggest many restaurants in Begur and in the surrounding towns, but also suggested some flea markets and other stops that would certainly not be in a guidebook. Her recommendations were excellent and definitely made our trip more enjoyable.||In regards to some of the other comments, no there is no car park, but it is a medieval town - nothing in the center of Begur has a car park (and we happily respect old school urban planning). There is a large one just a few minutes walk away. Was not inconvenient at all. And if you are seeking to access the beach, the town (again, it is medieval) is situated up on a hill (and topped by the ruins of an old castle with an incredible view). To get the beach is best by car - it's not far to several lovely beaches but far enough (and steep enough) that driving is the best option. If you view the hotel as a base with access to the many shops and restaurants in town, then you'll be very pleased.

We stayed with 4 people twice at this hotel, once as part of a walking holiday and then again at the end of our walking adventures for a long weekend.||On both occasions our experience could not have been better.|The hotel is quite small and has a very personal feel to it, it is located within close walking distance of the centre of Begur with lots of good restaurants nearby.||The rooms are bright, clean with comfy beds and despite the central location very quiet. An excellent buffet breakfast is served in the beautiful medieval basement but the highlight was certainly the attention to detail and helpfulness displayed by the staff who went the extra mile.||We will definitely return.

What a precious place in a charming town. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The building itself is gorgeous and reminds me of the Paradores elsewhere in Spain where historic structures have been sensitively repurposed into elegant hotels. We had a great visit!
