"ElRincónQueNoConoces This gem in Lince is the spot in Lima for the kind of home-cooked comida criolla your Peruvian grandmother would make. Founded by the late Teresa Izquierdo Gonzales, who trained herself into a national treasure, it's the kind of unassuming spot where you need to arrive early and be prepared to wait—people travel far and wide to line up for this cooking."

I order the cuarteta criollo and the budín. Very nutritious and flavorful food. I recommend!

Great food and good service. The portions are big, to satisfy even the huge hunger of a growing teenage boy.

Popped in today after one guy in Huaraz had recommended the place to me. I showed up a few minutes before the opening time and was the first to enter the premises. I was looked after by Mr. Oscar, who explained everything thoroughly and recommended a dish of duck breast with lentils. Everything was delicious but the breast was overcooked and quite dry to the point I couldn't finish the dish. The atmosphere inside and the service were superb though.

This is one of our go-to places for family restaurants in Lima. The appetizers and main dishes are delicious, and the dessert is also very nice (e.g., picarones). Since it’s a small restaurant, I would recommend to come earlier (closer to the opening time) to get a seat.

I visited this place with my family and all went well. I think this was one of the best meals I have ever had. You can expect a cost of $50 per person but it is totally worth it. I totally recommend it.

Nice and spacious restaurant with good service and great food. The only thing that i thought was absurd was the waiting as on our way in, we saw lots of tables available. Otherwise the service inside and food were great!

Tried this place our last day in Lima. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, and good food! I ordered the roast with rice and beans-very good! I did have to send it back because it wasn’t hot when it came out, other than that I loved it.

Pro: flavor was good, everything cooked well, the toasted bread with fried egg on top (this was part of their Tacu Tere) was surprisingly delicious! Cons: only open for lunch, comfortable, S/50 for their signature tacu tacu
