El Ruedo

Cordoba's oldest restaurant in the city's center, which has fantastic food and portions, is open on Sundays. The waiter was delightful, and the food was perfect; the flan De pan was out of this world.

It was a good place. Lovely outdoor seating area, nice and shady. Staff were pleasant and prompt. The food was quick and of pleasant taste and proportions. The let down was the pigeons. Pigeons everywhere. The staff do their best but they are just everywhere. People feeding them doesn’t help. They really need to have wire netting up as it gives a poor impression of hygiene. And the problem is only getting worse. If they fixed that I’d come again. Or come again and sit inside.

They do serve gluten free food which is really appreciated, but if you do order a main meal from their menu, you should know that it is a microwave meal from a sin tacc speciality shop, and they don’t take it out of the packet for you so that you know it’s not contaminated... but this also means that they don’t test it to see if it’s hot enough, so you could end up (like we did) with half heated chicken.. Good coffee and other options though!

dessert was not really up to the expected standard. there weren't many people around 3.30pm, yet the service really slow, just for a couple of sundaes. cool place to chill though. prices are reasonable

So far so good. Service was ok and the location is excellent for tourists visiting downtown. I didn't order food so cannot give a full opinion.

Was looking for somewhere to eat while shopping downtown, and happened to stumble up on this place Service As always, the service is always good. It's the problem with how long they take to bring out the food. My partners food was brought out 10 minutes before I receive my food. I don't know I'm kind of accustomed to getting brought the food out at the same time so you can eat with the person you're having lunch with. This was not the case. When I asked what was taking my food so long to come to me, I got a smug reply by the waiter saying it's being cooked and we make sure that the quality of everything is great so that's why it's taking a little bit longer The food was solid enough, not enough to make me go back to visit this place again. I don't know if the service really tainted my pallet, but I was unimpressed by their menu. Unfortunately, there are not many restaurants near the shopping center, and if you have to eat, this wouldn't be the worst place to eat, but just be prepared to wait
