Under new management… and it shows.
If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, keep walking. Actually, start running.
We ordered fish and prawn tacos and margaritas — a safe choice, we thought. Turns out the fish and prawns were the frozen, battered variety straight from Coles, placed on a pre-packaged tortilla that still tasted like its plastic wrapper. Add shredded cabbage and what seemed to be burger or coleslaw sauce and voilà — Mexican-ish?
No onion. No coriander. No salsa. No lime. No radish. No crunch. No joy.
The margaritas were diluted, uninspired, and came with zero garnish — no lime wedge to distract us from our regret.
To make it even more impressive, the same person took our order, cooked the food, made the margaritas, ran the counter and accepted feedback. When we mentioned the experience, the response was “try something different next time.” Bold suggestion.
Sorry, but this place is a public service announcement: do not eat here. I will not be coming back, and neither should you!!
