Mixed opinions on this omakase restaurant. I'll start with, I really enjoyed the small, intimate atmosphere (only 6 seats available at the bar). I loved watching the chefs cook, as well as having conversations with them over dinner.
The dinner itself had good and bad parts. I thought all of the sushi and the wagyu tasted fresh and was well-seasoned. My favorite of the fish was the fatty tuna, the sea urchin, and the bluefin tuna. The flavors were definitely a blend of Japanese and Spanish (several of the sushi rolls and soup had a spicy kick to them).
The entire dinner felt VERY rushed, we had to eat each piece at record speed, to make room for the next. I did not enjoy this part at all. Also, this place is very, very overpriced, for both the experience and quality of the food.
My partner also noted that he did not like that all of the fish was pre-cut before the dinner (probably contributed to them moving at warp speed during service too).
