This review is for the dinner (€€) and not the tapas bar.
We ate dinner at the upstairs restaurant. The tapas bar, with only a narrow space between the bar and the wall, was packed. We had to gently push and negotiate our way to the dining room stairs. The tapas looked great. However, we were tired and didn't want to deal this night standing at or near the bar.
Upstairs is menu only. We shared an order of grilled vegetables. They were excellent. My wife's dish of small lamb chops was a disappointment. I got the ox steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium rare. I think there was some difficulty in communicating this and (perhaps) that medium rare isn't too well understood in Spain. It came out quite rare yet partially cold, so it had been waiting around. I sent it back, no problem. In fact, the waiter asked if it was cooked OK. It was better on return but still disappointing.
The dessert of crepes with chocolate and brandy: the chocolate was excellent, but the dessert pedestrian on the whole.
Overall: a distinct disappointment. I would have liked to have returned for the tapas but we were leaving the next day.
The waiters were very friendly.
