Sunday night at Tablon Latino was wonderful! From the atmosphere to the food to the music, everything was on point. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the beautiful view was definitely a plus. Parking can be a little tricky, but they have someone outside helping you park, which makes it easier. The food was authentic, flavorful, and full of culture. Overall, a great experience — highly recommend!

We were so impressed by the excellent service and flavorful food we enjoyed on our first night here, that we decided to come back the next evening to try some of the other dishes on the menu. The breaded manchego with guava sauce and the bacon wrapped dates were our favorite appetizers; and, the mofongo with shrimp was delicious. I'm glad that Id seen the photos of their coconut mojitos in another review, and ordered one, as it was so creamy and refreshing, unlike any other mojito I've had before. All the staff were so welcoming, courteous and attentive, especially Pedro Dejesus. Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant with reasonable prices and wonderful views

I had a wonderful dining experience at this Latin restaurant near the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration. I was dining solo, but the staff made me feel completely welcome — the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The food was outstanding! I ordered a beautifully cooked fish dish with roasted potatoes and cherry tomatoes — flavorful and perfectly seasoned. I also tried the seafood in tomato sauce topped with fresh avocado, and it was deliciously fresh and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality ingredients and the care put into each dish. It’s a great spot whether you’re dining alone or with others. Highly recommended if you’re in Santiago and looking for a place with great food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere near the monument.

A Gem, a Latino eclectic food experience. An overwhelming surprise that brought great joy. The chef combined many Latin flavors to incorporate a unique experience with delight. Service was impeccable. They had menus in English which was very accommodating. Not expensive but would’ve paid double if it was without question. The chef should be very proud of his cuisine.

Located right on a historic road in Santiago, Dominican Republic, El Tablón Latino is one of the best spots to get some good food. My fiancé and I are traveling doing some wedding planning stuff, and she insisted that we come here as it has always been one of her favorite places. So we went. Let me preface this by saying, I’m Nuyorican. I enjoy Latin food. I love my Latin food. I currently live in Miami. I’m used to a certain level of service when eating out. This place blew all of that out of the water. The food, the service the atmosphere, everything is top notch. Our waiter always made sure we were taken care of. The food was fresh and hot and delicious. The dessert was out of this world. And for the price!? You can’t find something better. So if you find yourself in DR and not in the overpopulated parts, definitely try El Tablón in Santiago and let your taste buds run wild. Until next time folks! Enjoy the meal!!

Terrible experience. The sevice was awful, and the food was just as disappointing. All three of us ordered the Seafood Rice, which usually comes with chicken and sausage. I specifically requested mine without chicken and sausage, and the waitress assured me they would add extra seafood instead. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. What I received was more of a watery ‘asopa’ soup-like rice with rubbery squid—definitely not what I expected

The forest delicious the services somehow unpredictable depends on the mood of the waiter. That's how you will be serve. I order a food and I couldn't eat it because it was so rude the way they placed the food on my table that I did not eat it. I ask for the chef name and they only told me that he was Cuban. It's not a bad place because of my experience you can give it a try and judge yourself overall I think it's 75% approval.
