Worst hostel experience so far in South America. We booked for 2 nights but left after one. That first night we were woken at 2am by someone continuously screaming/shrieking in the corridor and banging and smashing things. Sounded like someone had broken in to the property which wouldn't have been surprising as security seemed pretty lax. There were no staff around in the morning when we left to complain or ask for a refund for our second night. In addition, the room we were in was not particularly clean. Had to ask the staff to change the stained towels, the replacement towel I was given was also very stained. Bedsheets also stained and bathroom mouldy.

I was really lucky to find this hostel with a good location, affordable rooms, kitchen, and travel style! Soledad was the best! How lucky the hostel is to have her as part of the accommodation staff! She not only provided good quality client attention but also cared for people. Professionally, she understands how important it is to deal with different circumstances, be flexible, and adapt to give guests the best experience ever. I tried other hostels but this one was the best in Punta del Este! Thank you!

Very bad experience. 👎🏼 The photos has nothing to do with the reality. The hostel was almost closed and we were the only people there. The rooms was very tiny. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable.( two single beds attached together)The bathroom was not clean and there was no toilet paper. They charged us as much as a comfortable hotel room. Such a ripoff!

Good things first: this hostel has a great location, I liked the deck bar and the breakfast is good. The rooms are clean, but they use air freshener to cover the mould. If they wanna give you room 14 don't take it. It's very loud because outside is the reception and the common area. You hear everyone thats coming or going and they play very loud music. People just don't bother about others who try to sleep at night and also in the early morning. I have a deep sleep and still woke up every hour because of someone.. There is a window but you can't really get fresh air because outside is a wall or something. I guess the rooms on the first floor would be better. Even if its a good price for Punta del Este it is still way to high for what you get.

I have nothing to complain about. The staff is great. Our shower got clogged and they fixed it the same day. Good breakfast, good vibe. They arrange barbecues for dinner and we also had a nice little salsa fiesta one night. Really close to everything like the bus terminal, shopping and the beach playa brava :)

Stayed for two nights, the hostel is a 5 minute walk from the bus station and the two main beaches, and about 10 minutes walk to the main strip of shops. The breakfast was pretty minimal but the kitchen was ok. Unfortunately we had our food stolen on the last day which was pretty disappointing. Room was clean, air con was ok, all in all a good stay.

Great location, nice rooms, good wifi, good AC & nice common areas. The staff here are really nice & there is a nice mix of visitors. Nice breakfast but the only feedback I would give is that the bar seems a little overpriced for a hostel but they do allow you to bring wine in as that's not sold in the bar. I would recommend.

Sometimes I think I'm kinda old to be staying at a youth Hostel but it's the most comfortable price for a room where ever you go. Hosteling international has high standards in there hostels around the world I have stayed in many all over the globe. The place was very clean
