El Viejo Almacén Tango Cena Show Buenos Aires

Absolutely incredible experience at El Viejo Almacen. The staff were professional and attentive, the food was definitely worth it in terms of inclusion on the overall ticket and the Malbec wine served alongside the steak was very good. The venue was intimate, cosy and dimly lit which allowed the attention to be fully on the stage. The performers were incredible, their passion and elegance on the stage was something not to be missed. Overall we had a great tango experience and enjoyed how the seating arrangement allowed each customer to see the stage on a close, personal level rather than being in a large venue where your sat miles away.

The show was spectacular. The dancers were incredibly talented, and it was a true joy to watch. Held in a place rich with history, the setting added to the magic of the night. The service was also excellent. My only complaint would be the food. It didn’t quite match the quality expected given the price. Overall, though, it was a wonderful evening and a memorable experience.

Wonderful show and great dancers, singers and musicians! The location is beautiful and very cozy and intimate! I highly recommend them for the quality of their show. Their food was not great- not necessarily bad, but expected better quality for the occasion. Also was very disappointed during the show because we were seated in the back and the wait staff was standing around, loudly chatting to each other throughout the show and it was disruptive.

Good tango show experience. We didn't have any dinner, just drinks, as its much more convenient to have dinner somewhere also and arrive at 10PM for the show itself. There was very good dancers, however its not classical tango. There was a lot show and singing, rather then classical dancing. Stuff was friendly and helpful, no issues at all. The atmosphere is good too. Good way to spend an evening in Buenos Aires.

A truly special experience. Do not hesitate to book this authentic professional tango show. As a backpacker, who has to manage my budget. I am happy to pay for authentic must see experiences, I spent the day comparing reviews with other tango shows in the city. El Viejo just felt right. I can honestly say this was brilliant. All the performers, instrument players, waiting on staff were all superb. An intimate restaurant and stage. El Viejo is specified as a cultural venue in the city. You are not sharing tables with hoards of other tourists watching the show and eating your meal. The food was great, particularly enjoyed the steak. My only advice would be to avoid the pumpkin soup as it was poor, the alternative salad starters looked really good on other tables. Also avoid the red wine during the show as it’s not the same as the wine served with the meal. Please book with El Viejo Almacen to keep this authentic tango tradition alive & support this fantastic venue & show.

Grato place for dinner and for tango show, The orchestra and dancers were first class and provide original Argentina tango show of first grade I will visit again whenever I have time

We visited the show recently and we really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere , the show was long enough but not too long. It had a good storyline too taking you through the development of the tango during the 1900s. The restaurant set up was great. We got a front VIP table which was great next to the dancefloor. The food had basic choices but it was tasty. Some drinks are included but they offer other ones too in case. The ambience was good and they had a pick up service provided too from our hotel. All in all value for money and great experience.

Exceeded my expectations. Beautiful, superb. If not the best one in BA, one of the top. What an unforgettable experience
